  • Tabasco/Hot sauce is really good at making shitty red-sauce taste better. Maybe that's why, hm?

  • i prefer the old theme tune..

  • wait nintendo ?! that looks more like a psp xD

  • real life baby ninja 2:45

  • Show me your tits!

  • I sometimes think, "Wow my life is bizarre..." and then I stop thinking about it... it's bizarre. Haha, sometimes I think the exact same thing dude.

  • Yeah, stupid house boats

  • I don't understand why people there are so crazed about dougnuts O_O is it rare in japan? not many doughnuts shop? O_O

  • I think it was a Sony PSP rather than a Nintento.

  • BILL NYE!!!!!

  • at the end you kinda look like Al Pacino.

  • I'm going there in spring!!!!!!!

  • @Morttinen I was there last spring. It was so beautiful, so awesome. Full of honest people. And the foooooood... Mmmmm

  • I watched that commercial and it actually looks like it'd be one of those awesome/cheesy TV shows from the late 80s early 90s xD

  • Riptide was the name of the show with the 2 guys and a robot that lived on a boat fighting crime.

  • Why does Krispy Kreme in Ameirca have few customers? It's because the doughnuts are really horrible. Totally different from those in Japan.

  • 9:15 - Is this the Fuji building in the background?

  • The bit with the kids made me smile. And that okonomiyaki looks good!

  • you went to that doughnut place you went to in vlog #49? or is just me?

  • I love watching u eat Kevy baby!! lol

  • Haha. Please see the part where he talks about tabasco. He is chewing, talking, chewing, talking, chewing and . . . talking again. So, so funny. Omg I can't stop laughing. Despite what I just wrote I love his videos :) 5 stars

  • tabasco and pizz is good :D

  • they are just donnuts! lol

  • 11:40

    "...aah, sugoi!..."

  • This was the first TokyoCooney video I saw back in April, I've been addicted ever since.

  • Maybe they give them tabasco because hot sauce can help the flavor of bad tomato sauces.

  • @ 13:46 the tv show was called "Riptide" 1984 with Joe Penny, Perry King, and Thom Bray.

  • . . . . You and those kids look absolutely adorable. You totally should have taken one home. I'm sure you could have smuggled one out! You've got samurai on your resume-that implies some ninja skills!

  • the whole boat segment had me singing the "I'm on a boat song"

  • funny shit man!

  • mmm sweet kiddies :)

  • Yellow suit reminds me of Dick Tracy...

  • deformed dolphin xD

  • your the dumbass sorry to tell you, lets see you win an award for being the best vlogger in japan

  • 35 minutes for a donut and coffee?!?!?!

  • i love eastern culture ! :) .. would like to study in tokyo ! :D .. a great city ! :)

  • Kid art rocks, put those pics in a nice frame. Also I think Cooney is right about useing the line to keep people from causeing trouble. Like if I had to employ someone and keep them out of the way I would send them to go get donuts and lottery tickets in really long lines and crap. Or else some Japanese are trully addicted to standing in lines, which the only thing I think I could understand is some how they feel like they are making a correct decision and all the other people affirm it.

  • donuts hurt my american teeth.......

  • Do they not sale the donuts in grocery stores like here in the States? I still love that about Krispy Kreme lol.

  • "People who wait in line for donuts, are people who should be kept away from society."....words of wisdom lol. Also, that might be some of the saddest looking New Orleans style food I've ever seen.

  • 12:09 Its a White PSP. Did Nintendo bought Sony over in Japan? Please don't answer that.

  • @NextNate03

You know, I was looking through the comments hoping I wouldn't find some idiot pointing this out.

    Ah well.

  • shout out to the New Orleans! cajun food is awesome, and not burnt food, contrary to popular belief. most of it contains shrimp and the famous mudbugs and scallions. tabasco would be more french than itailian, but i think it's just an awesome louisiana invention. it started at avery island, louisiana, about 100 miles from New Orleans. but yes, VERY GOOD on cajun food. katrina affected everyone, and not just New Orleans, the coast of Miss. is still rebuilding but not near as fast as New Orleans.

  • OMG at 4:03 is a freaken transformer bulldozer!

  • lol...i noticed it, too. that thing was in a hurry =)

  • Hey, love your videos they are really interesting. Keep up the good work!

  • man japan is sooo cool ^___^

  • LMAO read the tags...

  • you come off as very bitter here =C

  • yeah, the shibuya one is usually pretty vacant, but i never get fresh ones for some reason

  • no offense in any way to asians(besides i am asian). but i think it's funny when asians try so hard to understand other cultures by copying them but end up being way off. But good effort :D

  • japan is uber awesome.

  • as i was watching the commercial for nortan internet security a popup came up saying my subscripson to norton was running out

  • lol the tags are krispy kream donuts are made with crack

  • lol i saw the commercial i thought u were the old guy for a sec because you said you were the dorky labcoat guy

  • LMAO!! "show me your tits... HAHAH!!

  • You look so tired... :(

    Get some rest!

  • In regards to living on a boat, something either went very wrong, as you said or something went very right, depends on the boat!

  • It depends on what type of boat, I watched some show on the Travel Channel where the boat, is pretty much a floating mansion.

Also a great thing about living on a boat is if you don't like your neighbors you can just pull up the anchor and sail someplace else.

  • NnoOOuuUU T^T i just started watching this vlog 2 days ago and ive run out already...... *cries* .. april? this was your last video?! its june now T_____________T *sulks in corner of room*

  • oh my god! so true about tabasco(wrng spell?)

Ive never come to think about how we use tabasco in italian restaurant like it should.

as a japanese, me kara uroko!!

  • i saw the commercial! you were frickin hilarious! :))

  • okonomiyaki.....not too much longer till I'll be scarfing down on that again.

    those kids are adorable!

  • <3 the swan

  • he doesnt understand that japanese people just like waiting in line for anything

  • wow, if you really aren't blood I suggest you don't claim to be. And if you are, let's not go around flaunting it....just a word of advice from a brother.

Also, why are you derogatory towards the Japanese?

  • WHOAH what happened?

  • most white brothers ive met here have been dicks but you seem cool. sorry about the racist coments some idiots write,

  • Mad because Your cock hasnt broken 3 inches?

  • ha ha ha........ that might be the case

  • Now now, if you listen closely/look at his comments....you'll see that he complains alot but he loves Japan. He says so.

Also, to everyone else...come on guys. Let's be mature, let's not start throwing curse words at each other....nothing comes out of that. Just a bunch of mad people.

  • damn cooney, you lookin old.

  • That last shot with the lanterns and the sun behind the clouds, was pretty beautiful... er i mean, manly, it was all strong like and stuff!

  • Wow Now he needs to show a video update of his new place!

  • oh i see you won the award and suddenly you got a vlog block. glad you're back.

i'm almost caught up on your videos yay!!

  • in spain we have a long line to get money when you are unemployed that line wecome long and long like the donuts line may next yr is a 1 hour line

1 of 5 are unemployed in my country I should be proud to live in spain lol

  • Woot! You made a reference to Bill Nye! He graduated from my soon to be high school~! You Rock TokyoCoone!

  • Hah, I've seen you a couple of times on the "Tokyo Eye" show on the NHK channel here in the states. Usually doing some exploration of sites and stuff and than giving an explanation of its history.

  • hehe "you guys smell like fried food"

  • my gawd, yor vids make me so nostalgic and make me sad... i might have to stop watching...i wanna do what you do, but in montreal, send me pointers

  • Curb Your Enthusiasm reference at 5:53 for the win.

  • oh fuck! u do look like a dork in that outfit! lol

  • Waiting over a half hour for doughnuts ... ON A BOAT! What are the odds of that happening though... :)

  • what's wrong with your eyes cooney? hihi ^-^

  • u use a mac im geusing? the opening music is from garage band

  • plz make a video about dating in japan and how someone not from japan can get into dating i may need to know when i go move myself...

  • haha, the "Red Eye" camera trick :)

  • YOU ON A BOAT MOTHAH FUCKAH!!!

  • is this line luckier than the other one like the lottery lines?

  • I miss your videos man.

i can't wait for some more stuff :)

    Your rule Cooney!

  • Ahhh, fufilling.

It's like when you go on a diet and then you're like "no, I need ice-cream" and you eat it and it's delectable.

    I was on a TokyoCooney-free diet...

Anyways, Being on a boat, fried panizzcake and stealing people's children is always a good day :)

  • been a while since you made a video mr.cooney xP.

    how is japan?

  • the teacher has a great face. Like a movie star.

Is he an actor??? You would make a great comic sidekick in a buddy movie together. The kind who has to take care of the lead character. You could steal the scene, and we could love Mr. Teacher's pure heart, and good looks. Write the script. You know you want to.

  • i hope your new place is not as crappy as the old one...is your fish still alive?

  • lawls. those glasses and that jacket are full of WIN!

  • is there any place i can watch the norton commercial? i REALLY wanna see it!!!

  • Its in my favorites on my youtube page

  • If you're in position like this, you can't protect yourself!

  • I live in MA. My city's one and only Krispy Kreme died in the face of the doughnut God..Dunkin' Donuts.

  • *out of breath*

Okay so it was a long road but im done watching all of these videos.....

Now for the FYI ones and all that

    brb

  • although I'm sure a lot of people are going to disagree with me, I found that life in tokyo really sucks. I've spent 2 years there so I'm not spewing bullshit. Honestly Tokyo's just not my kind of place, and if you're a stay at home type like me, you might find that to be true for you. but if you're socially adept bar hopper with cash to burn, by all means go there. You'll end up paying through the nose, but it might be worth it for you.

  • Loving the tepanyaki sequence =P!! Those kids are just so cute!! =D

  • oh my, you just said nintendo when hes holding a sony product.

i hope hes emulating it at least

  • I'm going to Japan on 4th of July. Hope I can see you there Cooney.

  • SUCK A DICK!!

  • should I complain about it too?

  • do they have refills in japan?

  • No, and they don't have self serve drinks either. When they pour your drink, it's never to the brim in case it spills then it would be the server's fault and not the customers. Polite but I like my refills.

  • Heyy Kevin, how come you mention your friends having dates but you never seem to be getting any action? Go and find yourself a girl you lonely man.

  • Wish i could visit Tokyo.. you make it look so cool

  • I plan on heading there for a couple weeks in a year or two. maybe bump in to Mr. Cooney.

  • 4:03 ...wtf, was that a transformer?

  • Entitlement??? i'm danish and here the US lawsystem is a common joke... example (a guy sued a fast food place becuse the coffe he spild on himself was hot) now thats funny.

  • I can't believe Japanese society is that harmonious with so many people. Are you expected to walk away if you get hit by a bus? Or are there no "Japanese Lawyers" in Japan?

  • you got owned. lol

  • You said Japanese people hardly sue. How can that be? With so many people and commuters, you would think there would be daily slip-and-fall or auto accidents.

  • Finally watched all your videos! It's been a fun experience just watching them!

  • Kev...

That kid, was playing Nintendo....... ON A BOAT!

    See it's that much better!

    VegasSucks

  • He loves Japan and Japanese. On his channel it says,-- "Though I whinge a lot, I love this city and Japanese culture."

The reason winge doesn't show up in the dictionary is because it's a new word that means, "Complain about everything".

  • You must see his other videos

  • all he's doing is pointing out the differences between Japan and the US. For someone who grew up in the US you can't help but be disturbed or confused by some of the stuff Ive seen in his videos. but that doesnt mean you can't live with it.

  • Agreed. He's basically trying to educate people who have never been there or have been exposed to Japanese culture. It's all in good fun.

  • Good vid Kev. New apt. tour vid, shizzle!

  • Dude, here in Vegas there's a Krispy Kreme in all four corners. I'd NEVER wait in line for that. However, people here will wait over an hour in line for a $20-$30 buffet. You'd think for paying that much money, you wouldn't have to wait so long.

  • keep it up man i love it

  • haha 12:10 that looks more like a psp

  • I wasnt sure if Japanese people actually think Tabasco is an Italian thing. I noticed it in Japaneses Italian restaurants too. I just thought it was for if people wanted spice or hot sauce to it. They also gave me that when I ordered gratin :s

  • I agree!

    Please never stop making videos.

it doesn't matter what there about, there all sooo damn funny.

I CAN'T WAIT to see your new place.

your the only reason now i come online lol.

I love re watching your videos

    keep it up Kevin.

    Your awesome!

  • Please never stop making videos.

  • Definitely missed the Vid's.And I am looking forward to a tour of your new pad. My Family and I were visiting relatives in Tokyo back in June 2008 and when we returned found out you were at the Philippine festival, which was very close to where we were staying. Doh!

  • 35 minutes... Seriously.

  • Whats your job, i never caught on to what it exactly is.

  • i think it's just random stuff.

  • his job i mean.

  • Deformed dolphin ftw!!!

  • hahahaha "Im On A Boat", you should look into that song "Im On A Boat (Feat T.Pain) - The Lonely Island! I think thats your jam! XD

  • your videos are awesome dude

  • man i wish i could be like you your awesome

  • i swear krispy cream puts something in their doughnuts.....

  • and again, thank you for sharing your impressions you made ;) always great to see how you live over there...

    greets from Germany

Hope you get your move done in time

  • 1) i wonder if japanese cajun food would be any better if it were on a boat?

2)i thought you looked more like beakman (beakman's world) than bill nye

    3) now seeing what monjya yaki looks like... i agree with your discription.. O.o lol

    4) ...and about living on a boat when you're older, i think it depends what kind of boat you live on.

    tugboat/fishing boat = not good

    yaht = awesome!

  • krispy kreme doesn't taste any different from any other donught.

    seriously wtf?

  • lmao.."show me your tits!!!" Epic

  • nice super-massive vlog

  • this makes me want to go to japan even more! i love japan...

  • amazing video dude!! thanks for sharing :D

  • lolololol i love you<3 im subscribing<3

    thank you for your videos^^

  • Stupidity should be rewarded.

    <3 R

  • epic-ly awesome as usual...on a boat.

  • What do you know about teacher salaries in Japan?

I wouldn't mind teacher English there.

  • I think most of the entries would be about sitting in my room editing video.

  • Its fun, but I have a hard time getting full on monjya. Its alot of work for a little food. I think okonomiyaki is the better way to go.

  • I was a pack rat. I threw away about half of my possessions on this move. It was time to liquidate the massive amounts of crap that were building up.

  • As we were returning to the dock and the sun was setting it was pretty much one of those "perfect day" feelings

  • EVERYTHING

  • Been to NOLA, one of the reasons for my disappointment in the Cafe DuMonde branch here. Oh well.

  • Im not sure that works on stage... maybe Ill give it a try though.

  • I call all video game systems "Nintendo" kind of like the way old people call freezers "the icebox" Because when I was a kid thats what it was.

  • Will do if I have an extra child unnecesary at somepoint in the future.

  • well there's always Bunlap! haha!

  • Thats awesome!

  • Im replying to your comment on a boat.

  • Good call... on a boat

  • Im not really into buddhism. I got really into it in my previous life, but I was born reincarnated as a catholic in this one.

  • Dude. your life is fun as hell. You're on a freakin' boat, dude!
