Those taxi drivers came here to play? they came to work right? so why do they apply for jobs they don't like to work for? if he works in his country how much he will earn? almost nothing.. here they can live and work and pay for their families, if he had a good education he can get a better work.. and x5 times than his salary right now. UAE provides peace and care that you can't have in any other country's.whats why we are the best. and will always be the best.

and to add more the property boom that happened in dubai was partially funded and was guranteed by shiekh mo himself for the rest of the money they took as loan.
Abu Dhabi at anytime can pay dubai's dept. dont forget this is a united country and abu dhabi wont sit there and see banks taking property because of dubai failure to pay. abu dhabi dont want foriegn ownership btw this is political and your small mind cant understand it. go read about the bail out to dubai by abu dhabi for a clue.

life is so difficult, and if what mentioned is true, then why they are fighting to come here till now.
do not critisize DUBAI, it is offering something which is not offered in the GCC.
I was in kuwait, SA, Iraq, bahrain and basicaly dubai is the best and even better than our countries.

I've lived in Dubai for 7 years. And let me tell you, they treat their laborers like shit. About 30 laborers live in a studio apartment and only make 100-300 dollars a month for 100 hours a week. Dont forget that tempretures are around 50 C in the summer. Dubai covers up their news.

and as I said after I was given the figure of migrant construction workers making 400-600 a month on another video.
that's what I got paid last summer doing general labour on a construction site in muskoka ontario (near gravenhurst ontario)
so that's a pretty standard wage ....
and in India or china that'd be a fortune !!!

I wonder people are complaining about wages, last time I checked I've met people bought their visas to go work in UAE,I like the comment in the video about wages in USA, After I moved from Dubai to Canada, I can say with confidence that the slavery is here in Canada where promises are made for top trained professional from around the world is made when immigrating here then faced with the reality of $7/hour for a call centre job with every second caller tells you they don't understand the accent

Mir wird echt schlecht, wenn man bedenkt unter welchen Umständen die Arbeiter dort ausgebeutet werden. Ein Menschenleben ist in Dubai einen Schreißdreck wert. Ich wollte selbst dorthin auswandern, bei Freunden habe ich gesehen, wie die mit ihrem Hauspersonal umgehen.
Auf einer Baustelle habe ich gesehen, wie die Arbeiter dort gehalten werden. Sie werden wie Tiere gehalten, zusammengepfercht in einem Container. Die Glaspaläste werden mit Menschenblut gebaut.

In Dubai, the locals will kiss your ass if you're a white man, especially American. If you're Indian, Chinese, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, or Phillipinni, they will look down on you...even though their success depends solely on these workers.

Not really true, I live in the UAE and find the locals very respectful, the only downside is they tend to stick with their own kind, but hay, don't most nationalities. Deira/ Bur Dubai for the indians, emerate hills for the europeans etc. we all know the score.
