  • hey here's some pot, I think I'll smoke it. Hey, here's a video camera, I think I'll turn it on. Hey, here's a canvas, not sure how it got here but let's see how this goes... okay, I'm bored now... where did I put the pot?

  • y post?

  • fuckn stupid

  • Was the boat painting done by the artist in this video? It's beautiful.

  • nice

  • The "drawing" stage doesn't need to be too rigid or complete. It's going to be "damaged" by background. A very general idea, so that one can assess composition, is all that is needed. Sometimes, that's nothing more than a quick dab, a point, in four locations, marking the farthest boundaries of the object you're trying to place.

  • Can you make a video on how to make the thinner? that seems to be my worst "step"

  • @Tang526 Thinner, as in odorless paint thinner, is bought as is from the art supply store. If you don't mean thinner, and instead mean medium, try this: 3 parts linseed oil, 2 parts English turpentine, 1 part damar varnish. Every artist eventually comes up with a "recipe" for medium that they like. A Google search will yield many. But try the one I gave you. I think you'll like it.

  • ok.........

  • My art teacher told me to always put a midtone layer down with burnt sienna, burnt umber, and a tiny bit of black.
