  • I have these as Records in my closed, still in its original box too, I don't plan on selling them, maybe I can get a cheap record player and play them, no better time than right now in December right?

  • Actually Mickey's Christmas Carol was released in 1983 (it was released October 1983 in Europe and December 1983 in the USA). I believe the television version either debuted the following year or 1985 (The TV version is also on Youtube besides the short by itself, debuting with three Xmas/winter short films before the actual short, but in later years decreased to 2 shorts and a short making of featurette of an upcoming Disney Animated classic)

  • @avickers1992 Thanks for clarifying that. I did recall seeing this in the theaters with the Rescuers. I kept thinking 1982 because my LLP, picture disc and Storyteller album stated the copyright was 1982, not 1983.

  • for deck the halls; where can you find that audio for which disney christmas album?

  • Thanks for the flash back. "sniff"

  • I found one of these sealed at an estate sale in florida last week

  • Actually, Mickey's Christmas Carol came out in 1983.

  • I just let out a squeal of delight at a pitch I didn't know I could reach ! I had these albums as a little kid !!! I remember the Scrooge record especially. That was the first place I ever heard the Christmas Carol story ! I remember those songs esp "Kris Kringle" which I haven't heard again since then ! Thank you for such a delightful memory !

  • Ah I have fond memories of those vinyl days. Thanx for posting.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • I have all three...or HAD (I lost one of the albums of MCS)

  • The All-Mouse Symphony Orchestra and Chorus actually predated the Chipmunks...

  • Wow, these cassettes were expensive for the time.

  • Ah, the years keep rolling on, but most of them have been good years. Can always count on the good folks at Disney to brighten my day. Hope everyone has a great Christmas and healthy New Year. M.Evans

  • Very, very nice. Now I really feel old. Ha Ha.

  • Don't we all, lol!

  • I haven't seen this commercial since I was a baby. I can't believe I actaully remember this commerical. I was at least 3 or 4 years old. Thanks for uploading this.

  • And before the later childrens recorfds Larry Groce recorded that novelty junk food anthem, "Junk food Junkie", for WB records.:/

The all mice choir was something I mistook for Chipmunks!

  • Okay, I feel screwed -- when I got this set, the Dickens record didn't have the storybook!

  • I bought a non-gatefold version of this, which was a mail order copy from a thrift store and was lucky enough to find the booklet inside. Why couldn't they at least make it into a book instead is beyond me!

  • I heard Disney Records released another Christmas album a year earlier called "Disney's All-Time Christmas Favorities" I saw part of a clip from Disney's All-Time Christmas Favorities on The Starcade Website. I was hoping you could post the other Disney Christmas album commercial in its entirety.

  • Sadly, I don't have that one at the moment but it IS here on YouTube.

  • I Thought Larry Groce was Mike Nesmith.

  • help when i was little we used 2 listen to a tape at christmas it was a pink tape and it was about santa being late because they had run out of wrapping paper and they go and see farther time to stop time are something if ne 1 has ne clue of what i am on about plz send me a message plz

  • I believe we had this as kids.

  • Since when is "It's a Small World" a Christmas song?

  • @chabba77 No clue, but that didn't stop them from, at Disneyland, making Small World over during the Christmas season.

  • @chabba77 Disney justified it being a Christmas song by putting in parenthesis It's a Small World (especially during Christmas).

  • Ah, memories. We used to have these on LP. I fondly remember listening to them around Christmas. My parents probably still have them buried under the stairs or in a closet somewhere.

  • We had a copy of "From all of us to all of you" and unfortunately Johnny can still sing most of the theme song and do Ludwig Moussinsky exhorting the choir to get it together too.

  • I believe I had this along with Three Little Pigs record purchased about the same time. Neat commercial!
