How to change a PS3 Background /Wallpaper

ok guy's I need help. so after putting up a photo on wallpaper that I downloaded, I deleted it and then went back to settings, themes, background, wallpaper, clicked on it and found that my old picture was still on there as a wallpaper. I already switched it back to the original wallpaper, but how do you delete the wallpaper image?

@olipalli1 not yet. although it has a slideshow feature in picture viewing which makes sense. It won't let you use .gifs either. Until PS3 releases another firmware update people should submit their ideas on their forum site.

@ deathmagnetic load all ur pics to a cd, put cd in xbox and save onto xbox hdd. Go to settings themes and all ur pics should b available!!

do you know how to do it without goin on the internet with the PS3? my bro can do it with a 360 by saving pictures onto his USB drive. i tried to do the same but my PS3 wouldnt take either of my USBs (i tried my USBs with my bros 360 and they worked)

@zpsmaster Couldn't really tell you. Your best option is to upload that picture on a photo-sharing site such as photobucket, flickr, etc and then login to the same account on your ps3 and save the image on there.

@96polok That is because they are making it harder than it really is. Seeing at the PS3 is basically a gaming computer, it works the same way almost with a few exceptions. Glad it helped, you're welcome.

do you know how to change the color of the wavey thing in the background? you have like a cool orange one and i have a purple one. IDK how to change it.

@TheLonelySkater Yea go into your settings then go to settings> theme settings> color. There's 12 different colors. I actually had red. Because I was taping with an LCD screen at an angle, it looked orange haha. You can also change the theme if you've download one and the background and the font. Enjoy
