@D3mQN : Most people in the U.K. do non-full contact LARPing, which I'm sure you're aware of. This is based out of the U.S., but Dagorhir definitely welcomes the starting of groups in other countries. If you go to the main website it will tell you all about how to start your own group.
Why do they fight like pussies and use those swords like whips? if they want something realistic then they should first feel the weight of a real sword.

@owolniak Sounds like someone has some issues. If you can't take some criticism then fuck off, seriously. I only mention this because they wield those sword like whips which is stupid. If they had a sword and shield, they would probably do the classics and useless shield bump and sword spank combo. Swords don't' work that way. I understand you can't use real swords so please don't keep misinterpreting what I am saying. What I'm saying is that they should use them like they are real swords.
@owolniak In order for them to treat it like real sword they should get a real sword and swing it around a little to get a feel for it. I have done kendo with shinai and bokuto, the latter being the heavy wooden one. Those things would be a great weight device to demonstrate how a real sword should weigh and move. Finally, your caps are fucking annoying. What is up with that? Is your keyboard broken or is some bug in your computer doing that?
I'm an amtgarder as well.. and I'll have to say belegarth seems a bit less, technical.. pretty sure any amtgarder would walk in there and slaughter people... I've been in battles during a competition where no one even got hit for like 10 minutes.. just block/strike block/strike block/strike over and over lol. But keep up the good work and fun guys.. your game is still a bit new and has techniques left undiscovered :)
@Egoslip bel is about the head play, too- it's just more heads on. amt has a lot of high speed fights, which is good, but the addition of shield checks and more physical fights makes bel a VASTLY different game- amtguarders usually aren't used to the bel style, and don't generally do any better than SCA, dag, or new fighters. it's not better or worse, just different.
She's a pretty good counter-puncher. Not my style (I use poles), but it certainly works for her. Our group fights full contact (you go until it hurts too bad to continue). So, we don't get to see many that fight like that. Good moves out there!
Cool Stuff. I play Amptgard. It kidna looks like ya'lls game is a little slower paced. Wish there was a group round where I was though, so I could try it out.

yea....those politics can really ruin the sport. I've known alot of people quit for that very reason. The two jobs certainly does contribute. But it is a great work out and ALOT of fun. Also, she would have lost that first fight. You can't grab the blade of the weapon and not lose the arm.
