how to catch shiny legendary pokemon

so what if you were playing diamond and you're trying to catch a shiny giratina but then you want to switch to pearl, could you possibly switch games or turn off you ds when looking for a shiny or would it screw up the whole thing? o.o

i encountered a shiny groudon but i only had 27 ultra balls so i was rly carful but he ran out of moves and knocked himself out with struggle.....

that must have been very frustrating, about a week ago i encountered a shiny spearow in my leaf green and caught it.

yeah im just gonna wait til soul silver comes out and try to get a shiny groudon again.

I love getting shinies!!!No Action Replay,no no,I'm AR-Glitch free.But I have A TON OF Shinies.I have shiny mewtwo,shiny moltres,shiny articuno,shiny zapdos,shiny raikou,shiny entei,shiny latios,etc shiny legendaries except latias :( anyways I already have lots of them.I make new game then migrate to pokemon platinum.Getting one shiny,like my shiny gyarados,took 2 days straight!

yeah i kinda stoped doing this over a year ago at the first month or so when i started to soft reset.

i got board of looking at groudon over 9000 so i just stoped plus i had better things to do in the game.

well to tell the truth i don't know i gues until u get a shiny remember lots of people have done this and all say it normally takes a month to do and im still trying to get that shiny groudon but don't worry im sure u will finally get ur shiny legendary pokemon so don't lose hope and if u still have problems let me know and ill do my best to help u ^_^

ok on every pokemon game before facing a legendary save first just incase if its not shiny if not reset it u press and hold select,start,a and b at the same time and whats wrong with micros u don't like theme?

well in my area the micro was small and was never popular with anybody everyone still prefered the SP btw i tried to soft reset my SP but it didnt work i pressed all those buttons at the same time

if you press A+B+START+SELECT on the GBA, micro, or SP it will work
