  • Nothing makes me happier then hearing a well spoken British man speak highly about my Fore Fathers and what they did for "our" Freedom or should i say "our" individual liberties. i only support Free men not slaves.

  • @SeanSchecter "i only support Free men not slaves. ". I agree, it's apity that hannans family made ALL tehir money from using cheap child labour in a facist state. You do know he was born in...PERU, with his parents running chicken farms and a COTTON FARM in Bolivia, when facist regimes ran both countries.Having a nice voice doesn't make you a democrate and certainly hannan doesn't like democracy, hence why less than 10% of the SE England vote for him.

  • Brilliant Mr. Hannan.

  • Brillant speaker and tells the truth too,,,a most untypical politican,,,

  • exatcly danny boy nobody voted for you, and no one will

  • Nice to see that one of the elected representitives that is supposed to be representing my region could take some time away from writing his op-ed column to give so many speeches before he had to go back to his other job.

  • I applaud Hannan for coming here and speaking the truth! The shame of it is, the truth usually comes from someone watching from a distance. And it is the truth! Thank you Daniel!

  • Hannan is clever but he ignores the problem of lobbying in the US.

  • Mr. Hannan has ALL my respect! I wish that THIS man was President of the United States! His joke at the beginning was fantastic!

  • its an old recycled joke.

  • @occles

The only joke Hannan needs is himself.

He got royally spanked by his party leaders after his whirlwind USA tour of lying about the NHS & sucking up to republicans.

Believe me we wish he would stay in the USA aswell. You can keep him!

  • Beyond brilliant.

  • excellent. you are welcome here in the US --- anytime.

  • Mr. Hannan, you are great! When will you be here in the states again? I won't miss your next speech!

  • i agree with him we need to have a reeferendum but i don't like his view on opposing the nhs.

  • Crap, I live in Denver. How did I miss this??

  • I would never vote Conservative but if he stood in an American style primary for Prime Minister, then, yes, I'd vote for him.

  • "America Please Listen" He is giving us fair warning!

  • Don't they love him there? The UK and EU would be glad to be rid of him.

  • No we think hes a great speaker but hes on the wrong party his current party do not wish to withdraw from the EU which is what most of his supporters want and the ppl want.

  • I listen cause I thnk he is funny.

  • Hannan claims to be a Tory but this is clearly the Whig version of the history of the united states.

  • actually he claims to be a Whig!!!

  • I did not realise that

  • thanks for posting.....please, please....Mr Hannan for PM

  • Unfortunately our Constitution has been hijacked by socialism with the 16th & 17th amendments. We need to repeal both to get our country back.

  • 'Social justice' has been taught in public schools for MANY years, instead of what made this country great!

  • I wish we in USA would appreciate what we have before we totally lose it to the far left - they may win even though they are a minority.

  • if our conservatives spoke like him we would win every election

  • Our "conservative" leaders don't talk like him because they don't believe in rhetoric like this.

George Bush, Dick Cheney, etc. were called "conservatives" or "right-wingers" when, in fact, their philosophy had its roots in Soviet Russia.

  • @ke5moh Really ! LOL..unfortunately the polls and reality are against you. His destruction of the NHS makes him unelectable and that's why the Conservatives sent him to Europe.

  • This Brit, who I love by the way, is more educated about our history and economic system than most people that actually who are born and raised here in the U.S.

  • This guy makes a huge amount of sense.

  • Stunning! Sad that it takes a Brit to come remind us how great is our Constitution, and that we MUST avoid becoming "more European" in order to protect and defend our LIBERTY. Wake Up, Impeach Nobama! Take back the Constitution!

  • your talking about talking, you're too pacified to take up arms and that what's needed. you have no right to complain until then.

  • he's arse lickin

  • A modern day William Pitt.

''Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.''

    ~ William Pitt the Younger

  • I hope not =/

Pitt was despised by Parliament, despite his humanity and genius. But based on the comments left here I think that's an accurate assessment.

  • he wasn't depised by parliament!

he was absolutley adored by tories and most whigs!

  • He spoke at Denver! Darn! Why did I miss this?

  • What we have to look forward to in the future since socialism is working it's way into every nook and crook in our country. I wish we had politicians who had the intelligence and powerful speaking ability that this young man has. He has come to this country to tell us how wonderful our system is yet we are too stupid to realize how much we are loosing each day from this Administrations moves to stifle our great way of life.

  • Right on, he has a gift and I listen to him every chance I get. Unlike our representatives who run down and violate our constitution and country, here is someone who understands the gift we have right here in the US and it is our Constitution.

  • Here Here, Hannan for US President. Who cares about birth certificates. He is refreshing and understands what our Constitution is about. Unlike our current Administration.

  • I'm in 100% agreement!

  • Europe must be in bigger trouble than the US, if the muggers there have to use knives instead of guns.

  • Civilians in Europe is forbidden to own guns for the most part. I know it's like that in the UK.

  • Thing is the European countries took all the guns away it was the socialists. Actually I think it really was a joke about the money thing and the EU taking from everyone. This guy has a great sense of humor....

  • How do we move forward from here?

    "LaRouche Webcast: June 27th 2009"

    watch?v=QXEZSTQwGh8

We need to move forward under constitutional law, and a system of national credit serving our country, not the British banking cabal and Oligarchy.

The British are our ENEMY! Their Empire is run through monetary policies that lead back to Europe. Until we understand this, the United States will have no policy that has any chance of pulling us back from a new Dark Age of mass genocide.

  • Oh, great. The Rouchebags still exist, even though Lyndon got busted? What the hell is it that makes you follow a third-rate L. Ron Hubbard wannabe? Get some serious professional help.

    -jcr

  • This is the exact same speech he made in Britian...

  • No it's not. Just the joke was the same.

  • I wish the world had more thoughtful elected officials like Danniel Hannan!

  • I'll second that!

  • Ah! He was in Colorado and I didn't even know it!

  • PLEASE run in the UK General Election - we need you at Westminster. I know they don't make most of the laws but you would show them how a real principled Tory acts.

  • Absolutely.

  • He knows this, man. What he means is that according to the system it should work like that but right now it does not.

  • You heard him right. You just did not think about what he said though.

He said "ability". "Ability" needs to be *used* to be worth anything.

  • Who were you talking to, Dan? University? Republican meeting?

  • it was about 13% turn out

the reason people dont care is they feed them full of x factor and big brother and eastenders and dont tell us about the eu elections i live in england and its quite clear they keep us busy with media

  • big brother started on the same day as the EU elections :)

make of it what u will :)

  • This man is brilliant!

  • So what? A lack of Understnading of popular constitution and the EU makes you a moron, not Hannan. Firstly, both treaties REQUIRE unanimous ratification, any country with a Majority voting no is a huge message to something this serious, and of course secondly, general Majority over nationstates does not a form a popular acceptance when the Majorities in definable nations do not want a fictional rule of law forced upon them. So no, you are a moron, obviously, stop trying to force it upon me.

  • No, he made it clear that three countries voted on it, and voted No. he doesn't once mention the other countries, and definetly doesn't lie about their outcomes. More importantly, it only takes one country to vote no, and 26 to vote yes (Wouldn't happen, the Majorities would vote no, hence we don't get a vote, but stretch your imaginiation a little) then the point would be euqally valid, one non-ratification is a huge sign to end the project, not to push the same unwanted text again.

  • If you were running for the Senate or House here in the US in my state, I'd vote for you.
