Oh by the way, the new Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, has the same engine as the standard LP560-4 only they use the engines producing slightly less than 560hp, so instead of dismissing those engines, they named an extra model LP550. Since according to a lamborghini spokesman, none of the engines in the LP560 produces less than 560hp. so for the few examples of that engine that do produce 558hp, or 553hp.. they will land in the LP550-2 VB

Lambo's 12 cylinders is on of my favourite ever, think that is the same engine (only with a bigger displacement and better technologies, but the base is the same) from 1966 Miura,...n ow is 2009, judge yourself.

This glorious engine was in the Miura, in the magnificient Countach, in the Diablo, and in the Murcie.

the Gallardo LP560 has got a 5.2L engine, R8 has the same engine with modified airfilterbox therefore producing 525hp instead of 560hp, the RS6 has got a 5.0L version of that engine, but its FAR from the one in the LP560, also the S6 and S8 has a 5.2L version, but that engine has different bore and stroke.. so totally different engine.

Basiclly only the R8 has the same engine, but it's been modified in other ways to produce less than the gallardos 560hp
