In more detail, you see your own physical body (but not your own 3D video), the virtual environment as if you were standing in it, and the other participants as virtual bodies integrated into the virtual environment.

In an immersive environment, if you *were* to see your own 3D video, it would exactly overlay your perception of your physical body.

Someone should make a scifi show entirelly shot like this instead of with regular video camera, but all the scenes, storyline etc would be dealt with as if it was a regular show with regular cameras, the artifacts like on this video would be left in, it would be like the crackles and scratches in analog films, an inherent characteristic of the "feel" you get from using this medium instead of another.

It just needs to get the backing, which it possibly already has. Keep in mind, developers aren't required to reveal all of their projects when they start making them. They're making a Steel Battalion sequel where you can use Kinect to manipulate the mech controls, rather than a $200 proprietary controller, as well as a survival horror game that uses Kinect in a currently unannounced way to enhance the experience.

Is it possible to use the Kinect and Move at the same time? create a 3D avatar that's controlled by your motions combined with Move's faster accuracy to utilize held objects. The kind of realistic saber battles you could have if it could detect you dropping to your knees followed by quick slashes. Being able to move around and pick weapons on the go. The amazing things that could be done with the Kinect using the two controller scheme of the Wii or the Playstation Move.
