Well I just went to a air museum in kansas one day and they had it there for sale for 50 bucks and i couldnt think of anything better to buy at the moment so i bought that. The only thing is, is that is isnt loaded and what the mythbusters wanted was a loaded one wich would probably be illegal to own without a licence
Hi, I was kinda joking about 6 of them! Figured it was a one-off! Pretyy cool aquisition, though! Definately a keeper!
Do you want a EXACT replica of a B-61Mk7 Thermonuclear Device, w/dial-a-yield??
I have ONE for sale- Uncle Sugar accidentally sold 3 "practice" units, years ago. We restored one to "real" shape, including the data plate! It's NOT cheap, but IS one of a kind!! If you are interested in seeing it, i'lll send the ad location!PG!
@lovegunz1 yes- I can see that. I do have a degree in Chemistry, an Industrial Security Clearance- and can get any license I want. Re-loading them would be no problem. Even fabbing from scratch, should present no big problem- it's ancient tech!
Sadly no, if it had fuel in it i would have to have a license or it could just be illegal all together to own a loaded one. Empty it weighs about 40 pounds and with the propellant, just a guess, 150 to 200 pounds.
