  • how did you get that awesome background??

  • the HTC Desire is just like a small laptop

  • Hi Oawalker,

Good reviews, but I noticed that the Youtube app doesn't use the full screen of the HTC Desire. Is that true? Which smartphone would be the best choice? The HTC HD2 or the HTC Desire? I know that it is possible to run Android on the HTC HD2 but does it work for 100%?

  • @NiekkieNick There is an option to expand the screen, so it'll fit.. set it on HQ.. -_-"

  • Interesting home screen. That's what I wanted to see.

  • 3:58 We have two ... what ?

  • Im thinking about getting a smartphone but the battery life makes me doubt. I cant think of owning a phone that I cant have a single day without recharge. Looking at this review I saw your battery run down about 1/4 during the 7 minutes of this video.

  • @noneactive U can buy a more powerful battery off ebay which lasts 3 days. Only about £15.

  • Please tell me, how to sync my outlook tasks with HTC desire?

  • I fucking love your accent.

  • thankyou for this review its been fantastic to watch, you covered everything :) i just want to know is the instant messaging app any good, and what is the facebook app like? thankyou

  • Have to say.... watched all the 3 parts in order, very nice review, got about everything I wanted to know about the phone, using the Nokia 5800XM and thinking about replacing with this one. After this there is no doubt that I will. Thank you for making such a detailed review :)

  • is there a way to make bluetooth always visible, because its annoying having to keep temporary allowing it?

  • its not multi tasking its the last used programs

  • @CookieMonsterPL Not true. The last 6 used apps are left running in the background for fast switching, which is multitasking. If an app falls of the end of that list because you have used 6 others more recently its state will be stored in storage memory which can be returned to at any time. It's a clever multitasking system based on conserving battery (which doesnt seem to happen) and generally speeding up average use.

  • @KrazieAl Thanks for that, I stand corrected ^^

  • @CookieMonsterPL yep thats the app switcher...u also have a dedicated task manager...to manage all running programs n quit all unwanted 1ns...but 1ghz snapdragon makes it a good multitasking device

  • @CookieMonsterPL

its multitasking, the programs still run at the background. If it wasn't multitasking, the programs would have to start up again when you click at them.

  • Does the HTC Desire have a multi-colour LED ?

  • @sandybaybee1 No it only has the color red. hahahaha xD

  • only the battery is very fast low:(

  • @eurtie

    same as the Iphone.

The moment you use the phone as a "mediaplayer\mp3player" it sucks out the battery..

  • waz up

  • Just come across your channel whilst looking for video's on the HTC desire, I am seriously looking at purchasing this phone, although might wait to see what the new iPhone will be like. Really like your video's keep em coming.

  • @largy1964 same not sure because im waiting til after my holidays to see what im getting because by then the 4g iphone witll be released

  • i think iphone just got raped up its cyber ass

  • getting this on Friday wooooo hoooo (althought I shouldn't have got it because i can't afford it lol)

  • ohh it'll be great if the windows live messenger works. any idea?

  • @shen2loveevi u can download an app, search for "msn droid"

  • Also, I heard that you can't send pictures or other media via gtalk ... any truth to this?

  • can u do a video on the instant messaging options on the desire? go over gtalk, aim, meebo and any apps for windows live messenger!

thanks so much! and nice video!

  • @princesuperstar1226 I was going to ask the same thing lol. Please could you explain or make a video for the IM options. I'm a big Windows Live Messenger user and considered the HTC HD2 or HD Mini because it comes with it installed. I think the Desire is a better phone though, so I'm thinking of getting it instead but I know it doesn't have Windows Live Messenger installed so I'm not sure if you can download it somehow? Thanks :)

  • @Meinlondon Same! Here in Canada most people use WLM!

  • nice video again ;) I've a question: Do you have the possibility to view and edit office things links word documents, exel tables and powerpoint presentations? And can you also view PDF documents? How fast is the scrolling speed while reading a pdf? Are there any lags? Thanks dude :)

  • they are not applications running in the background they are applications previously opened
