all you fucking 2nd LT's out there you don't know shit next time you get a chance force your guys to sit down and tell you what they think about how the platoon / company is doing. no shit force them to say something. and stand by for the thrashing of a life time. you ass hole ruin unit cohesion, never listen to NCO's and have a huge chip on your sholder whenever an enlisted marine tells you how todo something because your an officer and you know everything
@IrishRA i plan to become a Marine Corps officer and i will say that all 2nd LT's are like that. I will tell my platoon this: "I am a boot. I know it and you know it" i dont know how else to explain it but i know that I'm new and i know that the Staff NCO's deserve respect because of their prior service and knowlege. i want to hear from my platoon and not be the idiot who thinks he is "a high and might officer". I will have a lot to learn and want to see what my platoon can teach me.
@IrishRA i am no better than my platoon. and understand that i need to gain experience. I dont mind if a PFC comes up to me and says i did somthing wrong. i want to fix it and make sure i am fufillingmy role in the platoon. i don't care if i have to go on patrol. i am no better than my men. so don't mix every LT up. some may actually understand what is right and wrong. Although i'm pretty sure some can be too confident.
@IrishRA IrishRA: Let me ever catch your disrespectful and unprofessional attitude in the Fleet. Your unprofessionalism sucks and any officer worth his salt would enjoy putting your know it all mentality in it's rightful place=picking up trash in the parking lot. You probably had a less than stellar officer and now you think you have the ability to judge all 2ndLt's?? Of course you'll never say something like this in real life, BUT remember who you work for and the reason you joined our Corps.
yea if you consider tell our our RO hey i had a dream about this if i get shot let me bleed out. and then jumping out of a fighting position to clear an entire compound by himself. we had to call off a fucking JDAM and send 3 squads in after him only to find out there were 30 plus bad guys in there and he was killed the first few moments he entered the house. that was not a lose lose situation that was him being a fucking boot. all you
