Look at the lyrics: "Through battlefields of blood and tears", "Had no effect on the killing spree, "The cruelest of atrocities", "religious wars", "The mother of all battles here", "Empires built, and nations burned", "Our savior, fight evil", "genocide", "Drop the bomb, end this fight!"

But if you're just refering to the music, yeah, I agree. It's just too victorius. Halo needs something more dramatic.
