I think it was a little disrespectful when Harrison was asked could there be a spin off without him. He's what made Indiana Jones so big, he's one of the main reasons, he is what he is, so to ask him that question...I don't know, to me a little disrespectful.
I think Shia is an awesome actor and he has the best facial expressions that make him so believable whatever character he is playing. You can really connect to him. This being said, there is only one Dr. Jones and there should be no spin-off.
to me harrison ford is the only indiana jones there will ever be. even if shia does carry on and become the new indiana jones, it wouldn't be the same at all. i don't think that will happen anyway, because luckily the series is called "indiana jones and _____" not "henry jones jr and _____" so if mutt carries on it would be "henry jones III and ____" which wouldn't fit in at all.

I'm so glad that this movie is doing well and getting good reviews, I can't wait to see it AND I'm pumped that Shia is becoming a blockbuster king and that Steven has him on speed dial, but a Mutt Williams adventure is not needed in my book.

I really liked it too and I love Shia and I think he did great in this movie, but I wouldnt want to see him in a spin off.
So I'm totally sharing your opinion cause there is only one Indy and that's Harrison.
