ok folks. good news and bad news. the good news is that this does work. the bad news is that it is NOT as easy as he says. first of all, he neglects to tell you that you must first jailbreak and unlock your phone. youtube tells you how. to unlock your SIM, go online and use the IMEI from any old non-used phone. i used an old NET 10 imei #. good luck.

do NOT activate your new simcard in your go phone ! do not put the sim card in the GO phone ! just call att from another phone and follow the instruction they give you (they will ask you for the sim card number, its a long number starts with 89. afther you introduce that number they will ask you for an IMEI, if you dont have an old phone to give them an fake IMEI google ! you will finde a lot of them. after you give them the IMEI number they will ask you the zipcode )

i call att second time and didn't speak to a person, just with the stupid robot )) and when they want an IMEI you give them one, it dosnt matter, if you have any phone home from any carrier give the the IMEI from that phone (not from your iphone). The reason for not providing an IMEI # is that the gophone chip is then locked to that IMEI and you would not be able to use it in your iphone until the lock is released. ~ 6 months wait
