Pizza Hut Buffet Commercial from 1990

I went to Pizza Hut in Woodbury NJ today and had the lunch buffet, it was only $5.00!

The Pizza Hut near me has always done this on weekdays during lunch with an extra Wednesday dinner buffet -- and still does. (The one near my work does as well, and the one near the college I went to did when I was in college as well.)

Seeing pasta in this video was surprising, though, given how much it was touted as the newest thing (at least in my area) just a couple of years ago.

Godfather Buffet use to be 3.99 too and then it was raised to 4.99 and now it's 5.32 without a drink. With drink it's 8.65 per person. Godfather Buffet has better pizza than CiCi Pizza and it's cheaper. I really miss the Pizza Hut Buffet in my city, I wish tho, Pizza Hut would bring back the Buffet since Pizza Inn still does their own Buffet and pretty much Pizza Inn is a clone of Pizza Hut.

Nice commercial, btw I know this was from 1990 however there are still some Pizza Hut locations that have buffets(mostly for lunch though), I know this because the Pizza Hut nearest to my house has a lunch buffet; plus back in 2002 I went to a Pizza Hut in Cody, Wyoming and they had a dinner buffet.

Yea, my Dad use to love way back then. Fucking only 50 cents for gas total. $100 worth of food would be like $20.

Yeah gas was cheaper but food prices weren't significantly cheaper if you take inflation into account. $20 isn't worth as much as it used to be.

@Patricio87 Ten years ago here in Texas, CiCi pizza Buffet use to have 3.99, then they raise it to 4.99 and now it's 5.72 without the drink.. With drink it's about 8.75 per person.

All Pizza Huts in my state pretty much tore down the old school building and rework the pizza. Pizza Hut is not what it use to be. The new Pizza Hut don't even do the Buffet.
