  • If this is a real fight, why is there a ref especially one who keeps breaking up the 2 combatants preventing them from really fighting each other? He also keeps getting in the way of the camera. Then also a second ref appears. If this is a real fight, the 2 men whould want to fight it out in private without interference from a ref. So much for blantant honesty per vid titles.

  • @bud674

It is a fight, In other words it is not a demonstration of Muay Boran, yes they have two referees in Muay Boran and they do have a set of rules.

Muay Boran was the original from of Muay Thai and although they allowed head-butting and hitting while their opponent was on the floor it did have a set of rules in which participants had to obey.

  • @bud674 its real for sure,if you competed youd know real from fake instantly, you cant fake a striking contest anyway, its too obvious.

  • @bud674 real as in not staged fool.

  • mulekeeeeeeeeeeeee doidooo!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think people who die in these tournaments are really stupid. Life should be given only under special situations. If you practise martial arts and don't appreciate life, then you're wasting your time.

  • @ludwigamadeus11 sometimes people need to fight for what they believe in, so we need to show we are willing to fight for what we believe in and that we can defend what we believe in if we need to, this is being human.

  • @ludwigamadeus11 well said

  • @ludwigamadeus11 and especially what is stupid to fight for something you believe in?

  • @ludwigamadeus11 Those are words only spoken by a artist who practices his art but never uses it. Its not a matter of appreciating your life martial arts is inherently dangerous and as a True Warrior you should have accepted this fact when you started. When you fight you know their is always a risk of you dying thats what allows you to fight with no fear or hesitation, because you already accepted reality. It essentially allows you to live to the fullest doing what you want.

  • @BrucLeeroy25 thats the theory but its bullshit unless the situation is war.Doing it for money or kicks is dumb if the risk of fatal injury was very high.Fortunately fatal or even severe injury is very rare even in muay boran.

  • @ludwigamadeus11

there is a agreement where the fight club would not be responsible for any death and the fighters sign it nayway. And this ppl do it as a living. They are nt so fortunate to be in suits and ties to go to work

  • What does Burmese means?? im sorry for my ignorance but i heard that name so much lately

  • @elchacal31 Burmese ? from the country of Burma (Myanmar)

  • @thaiboxing2008 ohh ok, and they practice muay thai/Boran as well?

  • @elchacal31 Myanmar Boxing is very similar to Old Muay Thai (Muay Boran)

  • Oh man it was so awesome when the guy in yellow caught a roundhouse, then ducked the other guy's punch before elbowing him in the face. That is some awesome technique!

  • why 2 refs?

  • @Itachi429 in Myanmar Boxing (Burmese) they have two Refs, because it is a real fight, one Ref per Boxer to be able to stop each Boxer.
