  • aw they loose their hair like old people? that is so cute^_^

  • @Yukikittie Please don't drag the rest of us into this...

  • owls doesnt exist... its illogical that they can turn their head about 180°... it cant be true... they doesnt exist... *psycho*

  • cute :D

Ich nehm alles zurück !!! :)

  • is he/she alright? or just a baby XD

  • @neverendingstoryyayz his name is alfie and yeah lol hes fine thats just how they look at that age hes all grown up now :D

  • @leoram1991 i just assumed because of the lack of feathers, but if you have the license you know what your doing. :3

  • an alien lol

  • Hehehe, your baby owl loves to dance alot huh?

  • thats a damn ugly owl

  • You say that a barn owl isn't a beginnes bird, that's quite obvius, but is there a beginners bird that's not too.. How do i say it.. "mainstream" ?

  • @0oStaub we can't have (in californa) ferrets, possums, owls, etc.

  • OWL, Y U SO UGLY?!

  • @Darknights7 not fully grown

  • @0oStaub .....wow dont like americans huh? What are you then? The pet Nazi? just shut up before you hurt yourself.....jack ass

  • @0oStaub Staub, not every exotic animal that is being kept and raised by humans is misstreated.

Stop thinking like the 'average day' animallover, and you will see that enough animals have a good life.

  • Awwwwwwwwwwww it's soooooooooo cute

  • @0oStaub stop being racist, it is illegal to own birds of prey in America. The only exceptions are those that live in zoos, and wildlife centers. These people are in europe, where falconry is still legal. So stop jumping to conclusions and learn the facts, cause I'm getting sick of prejudice, ignorant people like you who have no clue, but want to seem like they know everything. Another thing, monkeys, big cats, and most other exotic animals are illegal so why not open a book and learn da facts?

  • @StefyStuff Hey thanks ;) here here

  • @leoram1991 nor prob, I'm just sick of everyone prejudicing us in America.

  • @StefyStuff Why are we germans always called racists if we have an critical view on something? Don't blame other people for not knowing the exact facts... what 0oStaub mentions is right...here in Germany documentaries are sometimes broadcasted (even by american TV stations) where we are told, that it is quite easy to own "exotic" animals like monkeys etc.

  • @StefyStuff ....we can't know it better because we don't live in the U.S. Much the same as you are told wrong things about europe and it's countries, as I can read in your comment...Don't pretent being clever insulting other people, share your wisdom in an kind way ;-) We all can avail ourselves on the knowledge of the others...have an open-minded day :-)

  • @StefyStuff actually monkeys are legal in some states in the US.

  • @StefyStuff thats lol how american racist terrorizing the world and grab any animal from the forest saying " stop being racist"

  • @kwaka66666 wtf are you talking about

  • @kwaka66666

There is a saying called "the pot calls the kettle black," meaning you point out someone's vice while you have the same vice yourself.

  • @MagicantNess agree, he says to others not to be racist, but himself is a racist

  • @kwaka66666

Actually, I was speaking of you. To speak truthfully from an outsider's perspective, you spoke badly of him because of country, yes? Does this not make you a racist?

  • @kwaka66666

Is not right to judge one because of country. You cannot assume someone is a certain way because of their country.

  • @MagicantNess ofcourse, you can easily name guy from other country a racist, just because he says that you country has some privilege. enough hypocrisy and real racism?

  • @kwaka66666

All countries have hypocrisy, all have racism. This is always true. But before I judge a man, I get to know him first. I come from Russia to America, both good countries, both have their bad things. Because I experience people there, I know many Americans are kind and helpful. Is good not to listen only to propaganda.

  • @MagicantNess just look how many dislikes has 0oStaub, and hating comments from real racists (onikage173) begins. try to tell about propaganda. it's not needed.

  • @kwaka66666

I speak nothing but ill of propaganda. And for Oostaub, he made assumption. This assumption did not turn out good, but the ones who got angry were not racist. Americans get defensive because many countries make generalizations about them. But this not justify actions of onikage173... no one has right to call someone a Nazi, especially since many Germans are anti-Nazi. Personally, I think the comments about racism and all the insults need to stop. Let us simply watch the owl.

  • @MagicantNess You are a great man. We need more people like you.

  • @0Backtrack

Thanks much, but I only say these things from observations and experience. Just using sensibility :)

It is always easy to judge someone, but not so easy to see from their eyes. World may be a better place if we naturally did this as people.

  • @StefyStuff um...you do know falconry is legal in America...u have to get a permit that's difficult to achieve, but it still is possible to get one.

  • @horserider6 I do, but couldn't fit it all in one comment, if I had said everything I wanted to, I'd might as well write a book, but this bozo probably doesn't know what one is.

  • @StefyStuff Falconry is legal in the US you just need to have a permit but you are allowed to keep birds of prey if you have a Falconry License. You need to learn the facts.

  • @ericjkent I know that, but I couldn't fit it all in one comment.

  • Hey sistah!! I love how you move yo' neck..

  • Comment removed

  • I don't tink Baby owls look like owls...they look like amazing cute aliens or something :D

  • Owls move there heads like that because that is how they judge distance using sound. They turn there head on a swivel because their eyes are stationary. It moves its head, using the shape of its face as a sound amplifier, until it can pinpoint the exact location and align its eyes with the exact location of the sound. Waving food or whatever around coupled with the music, which makes it more difficult, is why its doing that. On another note...owls are badass.

  • @0oStaub Anyone that handles the animals that you stated is either a professional that has a permit, or a professional that has a permit. Many parrots are common pets all around the world, but I believe that the iconic, endangered types like the macaws of the Ara genus are in fact illegal to keep in the U.S. unless you are, as stated before, a professional that has a permit.

  • @0oStaub

and actuualy you can only have an exotic "pet" if you are an animal resuscitator, or work at the zoo. where i live ferrets are illegal. amd you dont see nay little monkeys around here

  • aww cute

  • Where do you live? Do live in the USA? ANd do you live in Illinios i do and i really want to buy an owl!! Please help

  • @0oStaub you're an idiot

  • @whiteash002 People that start insulting immediately instead of respecting other people's opinion are idiots.

  • @0oStaub Your opinion is misinformed and cruel. Your attempt to hide behind it being an innocent opinion is cowardly. It's nothing more than a passive aggressive dig on Canadians and Americans. Therefore, it is idiotic.

You can stop here or continue being wrong. I'm fine with either option.

  • @0oStaub Idk where you are getting your information, but aside from snakes and parrots...you can't really own exotic/non-indigenous species in the United States without permits, unless you are doing it illegally. I don't know much about canada...but its funny you mention it being difficult to own exotics in germany since some of the largest snakes i've seen on youtube are from german accounts.

  • cool owl am scottish to :)

sorry just had to ad that

  • @Yukikittie Pfft...did i say so...? No... we're of the same opinion, against holding exotic animals, but still you're blaming me? Do you really think I'm of the opinion that EVERY American or Canadian just love to hold an owl or something and doesn't care about his pets? I just think that it shouldn't be allowed. You misunderstand my comment.

  • @0oStaub Yep Just animals. goo one detective.

  • Very cute dancing from a baby barn owl. :)

  • could you recommend a good beginner bird?

  • @0oStaub Actually its illegal to own owls in both USA and Canada look up your shit before you go posting and making yourself look like an idiot

  • @RaiteAmano No reason to get insulting. I know that it is allowed to keep some exotic animals in America, which would be illegal in Germany. I think no exotic animal should be living with human. This video didn't look like it was filmed in a falconry center, that's why I posted the comment. Now I know better (thanks to leoram1991) So where's your problem?

  • @0oStaub We're Scottish not Candian or American and these birds are used in our falconry centre for both buisness and pleasure purposes. We are very serious about Falconry and all our birds are cared for to the highest standard, we have around 15 years experience raising, flying and training these birds and are not novices just looking for something cool or cute to keep as a pet. Amazinbean2

  • It's illegal in USA to have one, but how about Canada?

  • is that Owl Capone?

  • theyre endangered? and where can i get one!!!!

  • @ACEsk8krew19 There not endangered their found in nearly every contenient in the world. Nobody should buy a barn owl unless there serious about it and have some basic falconry knowledge. Barn owls are not beginner birds.

  • @leoram1991 how would you go about using a barn owl? I mean do you only hunt at night, and if so, what do you hunt for?

  • @leoram1991

Exactly right, it's a shame to see how many people buy birds like barn owls thinking they'll make great pets, it's awesome to see someone on here how seems to have some experience ^^ XD

  • @leoram1991 So would i be ready for one? i have lots of avery birds, A pair of budgies, LOTS of baby quails, A rosella galah, and a canary.

  • @kayleighsylvester really sorry but you need to have lots of experience with these birds before getting them, there nothing like budgies etc, they take lots of time and care to look after them for one thing if there not at the right weight etc they could die or get ill especially with owls. You need special equipment to care for these animals and need a lot of proffesional advice to get these birds , please dont purchase these birds without talking to proffesional falconist etc

  • I seriously want one. Hes so cuuuute:))))))

  • Is he a rescue?

You say you've had them all your life- how can you rescue and KEEP but not rehab them all you life?

I mean no disrespect, just asking.

  • @shinocicada No hes not a rescue hes a captive bred barn owl

  • @shinocicada @shinocicada No hes not a rescue hes a captive bred barn owl

  • @shinocicada @shinocicada No hes not a rescue hes a captive bred barn owl

  • @leoram1991 Do you release them?

I didn't think that was legal,to breed them and keep them as pets lol.

  • @shinocicada No, and it is perfectly Legal, these birds you couldnt release they would die in the wild cause they are captive bred

  • @leoram1991 Oh, I understand that you can't release something you've bred, but I just didn't think it was legal to breed an endangered species and NOT train them to live outdoors.

And sorry that my responses post multiples- I don't know why that happens.

  • @shinocicada a barn owl is not an endangered species , its found in nearly every continnent and it is legel to breed them but you need certain documents etc to do it and our birds are not just pets , we use them for pest control and we used to help run a falconary centre and use some of our harris hawks for hunting etc ( although i have nothing to do with that)

  • @leoram1991 How can yo u adopt one?

  • They live for a long time and they are very emotional in their bonding so you have to make a huge, long commitment.

  • @belindaesq Weve had barn owls all our lifes we know how to look after them

  • omg that was so cute i want a rare barn owl like that

  • ahahahahah))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • Hahaha! Aaaw that's so adorable xD
