I think I remember that, seriously on TV. But I didn't know it would be that good till it popped out in the radio weeks later. That was probably the best live performance that I've seen of them without Taylor Swift.

they should've actually sung it. It's way obvious they were mouthing the words. Their great live, i don't see why. and that really dosen't seem like a parade song. maybe something like the great escape, or thunder would be better.

everyone lip synchs during the parade. like SofiaWINS said, it's too hard to get the sound everywhere, esp on a moving float. and there's so many people there and it's crazy over there so it's just easier to lip synch

Just because they lip sync, it doesnt mean they have no talent. Most of the singers usually lip sync on the Macy's parade only because it's too hard to coordinate /get good sound everywhere.

ALL the performances were lip synced. They always are. Some are just better at it. It's a good thing they suck at lip sycning, right? They are amazing live!

all the live performances for television are lip synched. otherwise you couldn't hear them at all. They're great live though.

All of the performances are lip synched, it's not their fault. People can say that it's because they're bad live, but I've seen them multiple times and it was straight up awesome every time.

Basically every performance in the parade is lip synced except the marching bands. It's just how they do it for the telecast.

Ehh...no disrespect to the band, but this looks sort of lip synced. Martin usually tunes down a semitone or two when singing this live, but I compared it with the original recording and it sounds exactly the same, minus Taylor's vocals.

There's also no volume change when he moves his face away from the mic :\
