Honestly, the HD version is nice BUT the file size is HUGE. The transfer time is fairly long and if you don't have a decent computer it'd lag quite a bit replaying let alone trying to edit. And non-HD is more than enough for YouTube video like this one.

Shock that that camcorder has pretty good picture quality still shakes a little due to video records frames in bands, but not as bad as I originally thought it would be.

Like the other person said, you shouldn't be driving and shooting video, you will end up killing someone, do it outside or have someone hold the camcorder, you won't want to get in to a major accident with your brains smash all over the place, or end up killing someone over a stupid video, just not worth it.

you cant, since the flip rez isnt very high. If it was higher, the black lines would dissappear. but since the rez of the flip camera is 640 by 780 (i think) the black lines wont go away

Do you mean while you're recording? If so, then no - you cannot stop pause while recording and pickup recording from that spot. These cameras are simple ones and not really intended for that. I would recommend an editing software. Note however that if you shoot with an HD version of the Flip then you need to make sure your editing software can handle HD.

Yes you can do that. Just know that WMM takes certain formats and you may need to get a video converter for your other videos (WMM takes .avi which is what Flip makes).

No joke! I just got the Flip Mino HD and I thought I got the 120 min one and I just opened the box and realized I got the 60 min one. It's ok though! If I need more serious video recording then I just use my big HD camera. Flip is for fun! I'll be posting my review of the mino soon too.

Can you tell me how to get high definition video from my Flip Ultra HD camcorder? I use Windows Movie Maker currently. I have tried rendering my vids in all the options given when asked to choose the settings and none of them work. I get a very small screen video clip. Thank you in advance!

I'm pretty sure hat WMM doesn't have the ability to handle HD video (I'm not sure though because I have a mac). I would recommend using Flip's software if you need to handle the HD clips. Or look into getting software that CAN handle HD.

Also, my only problem is, how do you set this thing on your desk or a table shooting video of yourself and know if you are in the frame or not? when you are in the car using this Flip, how did you get your whole face in the picture or how did you know if you did frame yourself good?
