PLEASE I KNOW THIS IS HARD OR MAYBE DUMB BUT PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE COULD YOU REMAKE THIS VID WITH LATEST FEDERER FOREHANDS ITS BEEN ALMOST 4 YEARS SINCE THIS VID JUST THINK ABOUT IT :D
Beautiful masterpiece, both the music and the forehand. Amazing how soft instrumental fits so well with the most gracefully aggressive athlete in the world.
what is so awesome is how calm is facial expression is when hitting those big shots.. compare them to other top players, their faces are always distorted
@manco82 Is that why Nadal leads their head-to-head 17-8? I'm not hating on Fed cause I love him, but this comment is stupid when Nadal has beat him more than twice the amount of times he lost to Fed.
He's mine and my sons idol..greatest ever player to date in my eyes, my son hopefully will achieve great things like he has, check him out just turned 5yrs old and its like its effortless for him!!
Fed ...goddam...thumbs up if you're frigging dying to see him win another major or two before the very sad day when he hangs up his racquet. i'm 38, in my lifetime i've seen arguably ( arguably...haters back off) the greatest in most sports....jordan in basketball, gretzky in hockey, woods in golf etc...but hands down...the greatest who ever did it was the mighty Fed... nadal is brute force..fed is a poem that never stops rhyming
@MrChiffy I love Federer and Nadal, they influenced me, I dunno when I'll see a day with a rivalry this good. Nadal is like a warrior, fights with his heart and passion. Federer is graceful, and has perfect form and everything. I love both of these guys! Federer and Nadal, you guys are great.
People have to stop talking of him as if he's no longer GOAT. For nothing but natural reasons, he sure is on the decline, but he will FOREVER be the GOAT, no matter what anyone after him will manage to achieve. And watching videos like this one, explains us all exactly why that is!!
@nver Of all of the tennis videos on Youtube, this one is by far my favorite. I've learned so much from seeing Roger's form in this video, but more than anything, the person who put this masterpiece together deserves props for sheer artistry. I really appreciate this video, and I thank you for making it so wonderfully :)
I don't like how he makes impossible shots look easy. I don't like how he makes hitting winners from behind the baseline, after running around his backhand, look like it's a sure winner.
Can someone help me? The slow-mo forehand at 3:15, please can you give me details? I can see it's wimbledon and he's using the racquet from 2004-6, but i can't find a specific year or match. Thanks! :)
@infiniteobscure Thanks, I thought it looked like he's using the old N-code racquet though, and I thought the ponytail went around 2004! Haha, thanks again though :)
I don't know if it's the music or what, but I love his backhand and I thought his backhand was the most graceful stroke in tennis. But his forehand.... poetry.
Is it weird that I just orgasmed from watch a man hitting a tennis ball? My god, that's a sick forehand. I would kill to hit like that, and consistently.
I love how undramatic he is, making barely any sound and forehands that are going 90mph+ but the way he moves and the shape of his strokes he could be just rallying on a practice court
Why do Roger and beautiful music go so well with each other? Put Nadal with this type of music and you'll be laughing... with Roger it almost brings a tear to your eye!
guys who want to learn tennis on and off the field just watch roger it cant get better than this he is d ultimate for d game no other roger will be born and no one could replace him he is d ultimate legend of d game
The only thing quite decently from Federer is his "Come on", however what's different from my "Come on" and his "Come on" is that when I use it, I use it when my tennis ball doesn't come in, which is most of the time. :P
may i have a link to download? i will not copy nor steal the video in anyway. i want it for private use, i want to keep it around just in case it gets deleted here on youtube
this is one of the most amazing vids i've ever seen
@cj397 It won't let me watch on my iphone, says the author of the video does not allow play back. I also tried to download this video to put it on my phone and it cannot be downloaded either.
Great video. No wonder the maestro generates so much power, the mechanics of his forehand emulates the motion of a trebuchet. Trebuchets are things they used in medieval times to breach castle walls in sieges.
Very deep, penetrating forehands fed usually uses, that's attacking tennis. nadal's is used to put pressure on the opponent mostly their backhand, though rafa can def drive and penetrate the court well when needed. If you notice guys, roger looks at the BACK of the racket face on contact, seeing the ball THROUGH the strings, not looking at the ball in front of the racquet.
There are big different between Nadal and Federer's forehand... Federer keeps his head down.. which allow him to hit the ball little more lower than Nadal's... if you watch federer's forehand.. it has lots of spin, but doesn't hit like all the spanish players... his body stays down very well...
Before 2009 hitting anything to the Federer Forehand was suicidal. This video shows why. Definitely one of the best forehands in the history of the sport.
to look at this video is like to get drunk...plenty of technics...no words...now in my bedroom I'm trying to emulate him, also jumping...yes I'm crazy
This video is brilliant. Both Federer and Nadal are great players, but i'd rather watch an elegant and soft Federer tennis video than a rock metal power Nadal video.

Never fails to move me this video. This video for me is like a highlight of what was. To think now in the media federer is just a has been, struggling to hold a torch to the rest of the field. Its almost unfair, considering the evidence we just watched above, to be considering nadal in the same breath, let alone contemplating the tragedy of rogers GS record being eclipsed by him someday.
@radioxxflyer agreed bro & that's exactly what we saw today in London, because we saw a man who has gone well pass his prime, ageing fast and is apparently not on nadal's lvl. Yet Beat a young, so called GOAT, who's apparently has a better FH & BH then Federer and is in his prime. It's funny how people miss the point. Federer only wins now cuz of his overwhelming Talent & is the ture GOAT, cuz he wins against ageing. That's he's real enemy now not nadal or any-other & nadal will never do that
@hhsin821202 I'm going to come out and tell you. I *will* tell you that you find the name of the song and it's creator on this page, you don't have to go to earlier comments or anything. It's on this page.
Just watching this guy, you'll know for sure that he received an unfair and ridiculous amount of talent to fit his (seemingly) human body . A Ludovico Einaudi piece is perfect for his movements for crying out loud! I mean, who else could fit that bill?
federer is perhaps the smartest tennis player alive. I can honestly say no one call use the eastern forehand as great as him for a long time. I'm just waiting for another genius who can use the semi-western since no one really excel like federer with that grip. Perhaps del potro ... Of course western forehand grip is all nadal

federer is perhaps the smartest tennis player alive. I can honestly say no one call use the eastern forehand as great as him for a long time. I'm just waiting for another genius who can use the semi-western since no one really excel like federer with that grip. Perhaps del potro ... Of course western forehand grip is all nadal
