God, I'd almost forgotten this fight, not having seen it in thirty years. The amazing thing about Arguello was that he was not all that great an athlete; just so incredibly smart in the ring, and so durable. He was maybe the best finisher ever; if anyone has his fights against James "Bubba" Busceme and Roberto Elizando, they showcase his ability to keep his composure and place his shots while knocking out an opponent, rather than going crazy with wasted effort like most guys do.
