But your parents do realise it can be just as dangerous right? Every sport has its dangers. I hope you can convince them to let you ride and ride as you wish
western is acctually not bad! I was really competitive with hunter/jumpers but then my horse couldnt jump anymore and I didnt have enough money to show another horse. and there was no way I was going to sell my horse. So I took up western, barrel racing is WAY fun and so is poles and all that fun stuff, then theres reinging and thats just like dressage. So dont get bumbed, if I was you I would try wester. trust me, I thought I would hate it... But now I love it :)
