my 69 f100 went up in flames like that while i was trying to adjust the rear float on a Holley. the rear float was sunk and long story short i ran around the yard like a crack head looking for a fire extinguisher. no damage though. just some burnt valve covers. looks and sound good.

NO! I did have to redo the wiring to the distrbutor and all the rubber on the engine. The air filter also went up in flames! Other than that it when't back together and drives fine now!

Heres some for ya, While my Ford was in the shop the dealer gave me a GM silverado..holy crap what a pile... The inside smells like plastic and you can feel where it was all molded. Its funny GM boast they have the best V8 fuel economey, obviously not this one...in 20 miles it eats a 1/4 tank, and the pile takes 60$ to fill. Oh and its brand new, 2009 Silverado 1500. The 4x4 is a joke to, couldn't get itself out of 4 inches of snow to save its ass. Had to get my 84 F-150 to rescue it.

Wow! I don't have a problem with any truck I drive Ford or Chevy! Chevy is cheaper and ford dose make better rearends. They all have there pros and cons. I have a Ford and a Chevy truck and I like them both! I won't own any newer Ford or Chevy! Maybe I should change the title I think people are gitting the wrong idea!

302 iron manifolds with 2 1/4" pipe in to 2 1/4" Corvette chambered mufflers and 2 1/4" out No tips nothing special. Sounds good for a stock 302. I have been rewiring the harness since the fire. HA!HA!

No, just the air cleaner,carb,coil wires and fuel lines. I fixed all that and it fired right up and hasn't had a problem since.
