you can have faster spawning by having one male in 50% area, 1 female in 25% and another male in 25% area. Competition is on therefore they strive to be better :D
he must havp ut banana leaf or indian almond leaf inside 2 make theyre scales stronger and 2 make them feel better. its a good recipe so theyre more stronger nad get less hurt in the breeding process. but that means they can fite even more. point is its good 2 hav it
What do you mean by 'armageddon'? I have a HM female who looks a lot like your HMPK girl from this video, cambodian but her fins are not solid, they are streaked with red.
WOW i can't believe you were able to get those! I'm gonna try and get Red Dragon Halfmoons off aquabid, gotta check with mom and dad first though I'm fifteen and they'd be so pissed haha.
Hey have not seen a post from you in long man. So this pair looks simular to flesh tone red fin betta? I'm guessing the offspring should come out with a greater majority full red and a couple of the mutations then.
Yeah, well now that the holidays are over. I can get back on top of my game. This pair is a deep yellow bodied with red fins. I'm not sure what will come out. I'm more interested on what made these genes mutate. So I can have a better guess when I see what kind of fry are produced.
Oh ok, well from what i discovered when i use to breed guppies usually rare mutant genes are sometimes based on- 1.its and unstable gene and thats why some are rare, 2. some are first generation and when bred togather usual give back offspring majority looking like the grand parents, some of the parents and the rest are randoms colours and 3. it maybe a reccessive gene factor. But i find you grow betta pretty fast so I'm looking forward to your discovery.
Yeah, it will be great to see what will be produced. From my knowledge in order to breed a recessive gene, you need both parents to carry that recessive gene. That's why I'm excited about this pair because both have the same physical gene. They both have the same patern of coloration.
Yeah, give it a shot. I like it better. Oh and the pair is yellow bodied with red fins. Yellow is a non red (mutation), so your not suppose to get both colors its either one or the other. That's why this fish is rare.

how exactly do you breed to get amargeddon type colors?
FogaLakaMclovin 2 years ago
Hey, It's me again. Hopefully this time when I breed mine it will be successful. Also, it's been a while, so I need some advice.
I put the male in a tank with no rocks.
I put the female in the tank (separated so they can see each other)
Then I took The Female Out.
The Male Made his nest.
I put the female back in (like before, Divided so they can see each other.)
They are both showing the operculum, and I'm not sure yet if any vertical stripes have formed on the female (She is bright red)

nice, but i don't think your the only one in USA to have these, maybe only in your state but very much doubt it in the whole of the U.S
alex2mitch 3 years ago
Yeah, you could be correct. Try to look for an American seller, that sells this line. Guaranteed you will not find.
son303 3 years ago
I was browsing some online and found someone selling these for $199.99/pair!!
JHAV5589 3 years ago
lol, Seller from Thailand. They are the dark bodied ones. The one I have is the light bodied kind. He sells both. Pricey huh?
son303 3 years ago
Yeah that is REALLY pricey! I really would like to learn more about that mutated red gene though.
JHAV5589 3 years ago
Me too man. Can't really find out till you see what kind of off spring that they produce though.
son303 3 years ago
hey man..you breed bettas for as a hobby or as a money source? either way...nice bettas =)
ojin333 3 years ago
mostly hobby, I make a little here and there.
son303 3 years ago
I'm going that have to give the screen thing a shot, looks like a great idea. Do tell more about the HMPK pair you obtained.
