I believe there is bitterness towards Obama because so many blacks gave their votes to the Democratic Party. People have to realize that 57% of white didn't vote for Obama. No Democrat black or white has carried the white vote in a presidential election since the 1964 election during when the Civil Rights Act/Voting Rights acts were signed. Republicans have not aggressively courted black support because they felt that they didn't need black votes to win.

@Pennee101 Thank you for posting this comment. I have always considered myself a non racist. But when I read that part about the doctor, tears of shame rolled down my face. To be quite honest, I have had that "funny feeling" when seeing a black or Asian doctor. Until this moment, I didn't realize what it was. I also do not want to be like that. Because I've been to CPAC, and to the very first Tea Party rally in DC back in 09, and there were no black people attending either event.
