Your frustration is completely understandable -- we're up against a beast here, so I say we hunker down and fight to regain citizen controls. Alex~ HISTORICALLY protests have proven effective, but that was when we still had a robust FOURTH ESTATE to expose the growing (anti-war)sentiments of the public. It was also before they started barricading protesters in little pens behind the sight-lines of the politicians and the media, who under-report the turn-out so they can marginalize and ignore us.

various entities provide licensing for purposes such as this. Their prices are reasonable. Sounddogs dot com has great sound effect and campy music available for anywhere from about 6 bucks to a hundred dollars. I got a license for use of the cartoon in sec. 1 for about $19. Google and a modest budget will get you what you need for your own videos. We're in the business of citizen education, not sound track licensing, but it's easier than I thought to add good sound.
