bro u gotta help me. . okay ill prolly take my AR out maybe 10 times a year if that.. i keep VERY good care of my guns.. but im so stock on this.. i wanna nice red dot.. maybe little zoom want it to be 1MOA but dont wanna spend damn 300 -500 on one u know.. what should i do?
@aroccop Both brands will shoot 1 MOA. The NcStar scopes were fine for use at the range. Long as the scope has a good sight picture you should be good to go.
hey man im about to get a rock river tactical operator 2.. idk if i should do a scope.. or if i should do a eotech with like a 5-7 times zoom behind it with iron back ups.. what do you think?
@aroccop Rock River? Good move.. great rifles. Operator 2.. even better.. If you have the money I would do a Eotech with the back up magnification. That way you can switch fast from short to longer range..
@emtffzartman yeah man thanks so much for the response.. another question.. would you still be able to run irons if i do that eotech with the magnifier.. and also have you ever heard of "mako" magnifiers? they make like a 7x zoom for like 100 something
@aroccop I am not against cheap optics, I own some myself. But long as you keep in mind what you are getting is not top of the line, all will be good. I have not heard of Mako.. But I have heard of and used NcStar. Low price, but decent optics for people on a budget or that do not want to pay for a scope that is more expensive than the rifle was.. lol
Nice rig. I have two complete AR's and the my long range upper with a 20" bull barrel. I have the BSA 8x-32x scope on it. Then the others have a carbine length and a mid length love the setup of the AR's. Like they this is my rifle not yours.
@TheChuyz75 I want to get a longer barrel like a 20" like yours, just the upper though so I can swap them out. Thanks for the comment.. I will continue to set up my rifle to my likes.. forget everyone..
an M4 carbine style ar with a scope? seems pointless unless youre just doing it for fun. at the minimum you;d want an A2 stock for a proper cheek weld and a 20in HBAR barrel for accurate "longer" range shooting. carbines were never supposed to have scope, only riflemans rifles (mausers, m70s, m24s/700's, A2/A4's etc)... would you put a scope on an M1/M2 carbine too? just dosent make sense. anyway cool video I guess
@67mustangreg I have said in many of my comments that I do not use the scope much. I am showing that they are able to be mounted. I would rather have a 0 power red dot, but have not got the money for the one I want yet. Thanks for the comment... I guess..
@67mustangreg Umm, well, the standard soldier is carrying an M-4 with a 14.5" barrel and a 4x zoom Trijicon ACOG, so they are designed to be used with scopes. No, M-4s are not DMRs but their effective range is 400-500yds, so you do need magnification if you're shooting beyond 100-200yds. ARs are typically capable of sub-MOA accuracy depending on ammo, and that kind of accuracy is wasted with iron sights. As for the "rifleman's rifles" statement, the M-4 is the "rifleman's rifle" in the U.S..
@67mustangreg it's a .223 or 5.56 so it can go LR, whether or not if has a fixed stocked or a HBAR. i've met seals in Iraq that had leupold LR optics in their packs, just incase if they had to swap out their red optics on their "Shorties" aka SBR. it all comes down to the shooter and how well they know their rifle.
@baker70romeo Amen!!!!!!! I knew I was not crazy. All of these people were starting to make me feel like I was.. Thanks for the comment and backing my thought pattern with real life knowledge. Not saying I know nothing, I just have not been there and done that like a lot of people. But I can hold my own for sure at the range.
the le colt is the smaller edition of the colt ar15 line up am i right? if it is what advantages does the LE bring vs the regular sized one besides a little lighter in weight ?
@Miguelsr1rst Well without talking military or SBR (short barreled rifle)... yes. the LE is more for house clearing or urban areas. Thats why I got it. has a lower profile than the full length 20" barrel. It is not a lot lighter, but it is a little. They also have a collapsable stock that makes it work well with body armor or heavy coats. The accuracy does not change a whole lot with the couple inches less barrel so it is a nice trade off.
@abombrichy I think the Boy Scouts of America is a great organization... Ohh you mean the scope, yea it does suck. But for the price I paid it is not bad to play with.
because your optics are setup for long range, look into one of those 45 deg angle picattiny rail to mount on the flat top or on a quad rail and strap up a cheap red dot for close qtrs shooting or incase something happens to your scope especially since the eye relief isnt so good. Whatchu think?
i use the same scope on my long range AR (18 inch barrel 1/7 twist ss White Oak Armament) try a free float hand gaurd and get a good trigger and stretch it out to 300yds
Have you looked at the Leupold Mark AR 1.5-5x? it is a much more practical scope for your setup.... I would also suggest losing the bipod and learning how to use a sling...
@bingeebob It sure is.. and I have looked at those, then I saw the price.. I am not really a scope guy either. Was just showing options.. I love iron sights..
@emtffzartman "thts allot of scope for a carbine" What the hell is he talkig about? My buddy is a serious competitive air rifle marksman. He uses a 32X scope from 30 yards. They shoot at a ring the size of a half dollar and score 0-10 points. Rifle set ups are personal to the application. I had to chime in because I am so sick of hearing people comment on others set up. If a Sniper had to hit a quarter in the battlefield I bet he'd bring a scope better than the "common" 10x.
@emtffzartman Right. Use what works for the application in which you choose to engage. For intsance in my rapid fire league we shoot bulleye as well. We shoot out to 200 yards with doulble taps on human shilloutes. For rapid fire "I" will use 6-7 power because I will be engaging multiple targets and need a wider field of view to get to the next one as quicly as possible. When we shoot at 20" bullseye targets I use 16X. Sometime I wish I had more maginification for that particuar "shot".
.223 and 5.56 are not the same round. the 5.56 has a lot more gun powder so it gives you better knock down power and acc. i just hate when people say that cuz if u pick up a .223 and a 5.56 at the same time and shake them both your gonna see what i mean, but good set up
@Valkyrie315 Exactly!!!! if someone can tell me the difference in a round between 5-10 grains of powder they are smarter than me.. People are clueless!
@Valkyrie315 The case dimensions are also slightly different. the 5.56 is bigger. to make it simple, you can shoot a 223 out of a 5.56 chamber but not the other way around.
Just some advice... Having your bipod that close to the guns center of gravity can cause alot of unnecessary movement when the gun is firing. It can actually take your rounds off target. If you ever have trouble when zeroing try moving it up forwards a little. Other than that nice gear.
@mastercfromhalo3 Good point.. I was more concerned of the weight on the barrel that far out. But I guess having it stable will help round placement better than weight that far out the barrel.. I might just move it...
It is not back to far for me. I like it there. No I do not always leave the legs down. And nor do I leave the bi-pod on all he time. It comes off very quickly.

Awesome review man. I am actually buying one of the Colt LE 6920's this weekend and this has really helped out a lot because I was wanting one for like varmint and range shooting. Keep the reviews coming man. I agree ACOG's are sweet but they are pricey.
What other scopes did you look at before settling on this one? I want to do some distance shooting but I know absolutely nothing about scopes and I don't want to over or under buy for my AR-15. I understand they make scopes that are AR-15 specific and range out to 600 yards which as I understand it is the AR-15's longest effective range. I'm curious if you looked at one of those scopes and if you did, why you bought yours instead of the AR-15 specific one. Great vid man! 5 stars!!!
I got this one because it was offered to me at a cheap price.. It is not the best or even near the best. I really can not give expert advice on scopes either. But I know from what i was told that 10x magnification is about the limit of what to do with an AR-15. Yes 600 is about the extent also as far as distance. I would get an AR-15 specific scope if I had the money or space to shoot that far. Thanks for the comment.
I know what you mean! I have 3 gun ranges in my area and 2 have 100 yard target stands and 1 has a 300 yard target range (which is ALWAYS being used by someone else!) I have had the chance to use it a couple times and was very surprised at how accurate my AR-15 was just using my iron sights. I was able to keep most of my hits within about a 3ft circle without a scope AND using 43 year old eyes! I'm gonna hold out for an AR-15 specific scope and return to that range in the Spring. Stay safe!
I will give you an "A" for excellent effort. It takes a lot of guts to do a video and post it because everybody and their brother is going to bash you for the slightest infraction. You did an outstanding job!
Dude..it is funny how you say "what hole it go to.." it will confuse a lot of people. Use proper terms when you are doing a video for people to see. LOL..
these people talk about how 10's or 20 round magazines are for wuss's. well, it doesnt take a full 30 clip to shoot one thing does it? unless you miss a bunch and need some more chances to hit your target. im not sayin i dont like 30 round mags but sheesh, its just a mag!
I dont know why people are so up on this mag thing. I think it depends on what you are doing with the firearm. But normally when I go to the range a 10 or 20 is fine.
Why go with a carbine set up for long range? I wouldent have gone any shorter then a mid-length or rifle-length gas system with at the minimum 16"barrel. The colt is a great rifle so why the cheap scope and base?
I have heard of ipsc. I am fully aware of how far my rifle can shoot, and what effective range is. I dont need you to tell me that kind of stuff. I do go to shooting events and am quite good. I never claim to be tactical, I state the rifle is tactical. I also state I do not shoot with the scope much. It was cheap and was different, so I mess around with it for fun. And that I dont even do much. Dont be a dick..
200 yards huh? after 300 you want a bolt gun? That carbine should be effective with iron sights to 600m, you need to check your local area and see about doing some appleseed shoots and actually learning something about your rifle, shooting and marksmanship before posting up your tacticool awesomeness bro.
And unless you are using a larue or arms mount on that scope, I would not trust your zero to be the same pulling off that cheap scope for you LONG range set up videos.
To me long range starts at about 200 yard. But the longest range around me is a 300 yard range so I dont have a place to shoot longer stuff. If I had a longer range I would be using a Bolt action rifle. Ohh, and I dont think my bipod looks dumb at all.. its not nearly as ugly as a Ruger P89.. They are ugly ass pistols..
Oh and I hate the .223/5.56 for target takedown. You'll make em bleed but it wont stop em like my AK:~) Or a 7.62 upper which I might opt in for later....
Never said I was an expert... Depends on the rifle, the ammo, wind, elevation.. but generally if the bullet is still in the air at 1000 yards it will less effective. But, getting hit with a .223 that is moving slowly is bad. They tend to bounce off of bones inside of a body. The small rounds are more likely to do this faster than a large round. I have not seen this, but have many friends that were in combat and told me this. The range does vary though. lots of variables.
While I agree that the 7.62 is a superior "damage causing" cartridge... the accuracy of an AK is not useful for anything past 150m. They generally have 3-5 MOA (which is good for our troops, cause the terrorists already suck at aiming!)
I agree.. I am glad our military is not up against the M-16 or even a Mauser K98... I am really not an AK-47 guy. Heck i would take an SKS before and AK. They can be fired with dirt in them, but thats not everything.
Actually contrary to many peoples views, I'd slap a good 10x fixed or a good 3-9x on it. Irons are fine and good and you need to be familiar with those first but a scope is very useful. My eyes suck ass thats why I'd opt for a 10x and not a 3x-9x. And I have a very hard time shooting through irons because of atigmatism and acute shitty vision disease so a scope on my 16" aint so ridiculous
What is the longest distance you have shot a human silhouette with this scope and rifle? And how was the accuracy at various distances?
Cool XD. I have one, but it's a 4" black .40 S&W. I should have bought a .45 ACP because the rounds, at least where I live, are cheaper and more available than .40 S&W. Crazy how market economics work huh? Just because of that, I bought a Kahr CW45.
That scope is over kill on a M-4. The range is only about 500 meters and a good shooter should be able to connect most round on a man sized target at that range.
I didnt say it was a full length firearm... Optics were mounted to show that it can be done and for the fun of it. at 200 yards it very accurite. And I say in the video it is not used much.. Thanks for commenting.
Why don't you choose a use for colt, either long range or CQB, Why have a flashlight if your shooing for distance? A solid stock is better for more accuracy. Why not a longer barrel? I do agree with your scope mount as I had the same one. Move your bipods foreword, or you might as well use the 30 rd mag as a mono pod. 20 rd mags aren't for pussies, why have a 30 round mag, your not coming under enemy ambush or anything. Anyway, Informative video. nice time span.
Ok. I got the rifle for a few uses.. the least used is the long range shooting. but they are very accurate at long range. I do agree with all the things u listed if I was going for hard core long range shooting. But I would never use a Mag as a monopod.. it causes misfeeds.
yeah i understand the quad rails, they are heavy and expensive. but if you need a self defense rifle as i said before u should pick an Eotech or a Bushnell holosight.
I understand it can, but then again you wouldn't want to loose it in a stressful combative engagement either... It just looked too close, and I was confirmed.
For the application of the bipod it would be for longer distance. Its not much different than an M-60 and the bipod set up, yes it is closer to the action but the bi-pod its self can be held when folded or the front hand guard is easy to hold while the bipod is unfolded.
ok i have a dpms sweet 16(ar15 with 16 inch bull barel and free float) what is a good long range scope on the cheap i am using a 3x9x27 and it is not cuting it
What price range are you looking for? I would try for the $300 range if I were going cheap. I have a BSA, people say they are junk but I can hit what I aim at. mine goes up to 24 power. I am not an expert on scopes and have really only looked at high end stuff like EOTech and Trijicon. For the most part you get what you pay for. Bushnell has some nice scopes too. My rule of thumb is if it has a focus and a parallax adjustment you are looking in the right direction. Google it. lol
Well I am saving up for a 308 bolt action. Looking at the Rem. 700LE or maybe even Savage LE. I like the Barrett 50 bmg and the FNH 308 but hey are expensive!!!
Tactical, house clearing, CQC practice... Then what I have is perfect. Soo. no difference in accuracy? But there is a difference in velocity... How does that work? I may not be a sniper but last time I checked velocity has alot to do with accuracy at long range... and I am not going to hand load for a 223 semi-auto. Waste of time unless I am going to long range (200 yards plus)and that I am not going for...
Well well well. Thank you for the advice... But Firsts of all the scope is not used much, I got it for a great price, I am not made of money. I am a real person who has a house and a family. The scope is for fun! I mounted the Bi-pod there because I am not buying the free float HG because for my use of closer tactial shooting I dont need it. I am going to be getting a 308 bolt to do long range, just takes us normal people time to save money..
No it is not guaranteed but I have had no problems with it keeping its zero. I am very careful with the scope when I mount it and what I do with it when its not on the rifle. I am not saying its perfect, but maybe 1 MOA or so. But thats with a middle of the road scope too...
lol thats what that gun is for holms. maybe he wants to shoot some1 breaking in to his manson were he might need a big ass scope, but still wants the tactic00l light for up close -_-
bro u gotta help me. . okay ill prolly take my AR out maybe 10 times a year if that.. i keep VERY good care of my guns.. but im so stock on this.. i wanna nice red dot.. maybe little zoom want it to be 1MOA but dont wanna spend damn 300 -500 on one u know.. what should i do?

What other scopes did you look at before settling on this one? I want to do some distance shooting but I know absolutely nothing about scopes and I don't want to over or under buy for my AR-15. I understand they make scopes that are AR-15 specific and range out to 600 yards which as I understand it is the AR-15's longest effective range. I'm curious if you looked at one of those scopes and if you did, why you bought yours instead of the AR-15 specific one. Great vid man! 5 stars!!!
martykean1967 2 years ago
I got this one because it was offered to me at a cheap price.. It is not the best or even near the best. I really can not give expert advice on scopes either. But I know from what i was told that 10x magnification is about the limit of what to do with an AR-15. Yes 600 is about the extent also as far as distance. I would get an AR-15 specific scope if I had the money or space to shoot that far. Thanks for the comment.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
I know what you mean! I have 3 gun ranges in my area and 2 have 100 yard target stands and 1 has a 300 yard target range (which is ALWAYS being used by someone else!) I have had the chance to use it a couple times and was very surprised at how accurate my AR-15 was just using my iron sights. I was able to keep most of my hits within about a 3ft circle without a scope AND using 43 year old eyes! I'm gonna hold out for an AR-15 specific scope and return to that range in the Spring. Stay safe!
martykean1967 2 years ago
I will give you an "A" for excellent effort. It takes a lot of guts to do a video and post it because everybody and their brother is going to bash you for the slightest infraction. You did an outstanding job!

Thank you.. People always point out the bad and never the good.. Thanks for watching.

Dude..it is funny how you say "what hole it go to.." it will confuse a lot of people. Use proper terms when you are doing a video for people to see. LOL..
dragonz72 2 years ago
Ok.. Sorry.. It fits into the grove... wow.. grove, thats a technical term. I use the KISS method. Keep, It, Simple, Stupid.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
these people talk about how 10's or 20 round magazines are for wuss's. well, it doesnt take a full 30 clip to shoot one thing does it? unless you miss a bunch and need some more chances to hit your target. im not sayin i dont like 30 round mags but sheesh, its just a mag!
TheComplementor 2 years ago
I dont know why people are so up on this mag thing. I think it depends on what you are doing with the firearm. But normally when I go to the range a 10 or 20 is fine.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
Its easy to spot newbies or air soft kids making comments ! LOL
JimTL1000R 2 years ago
LOLTrue! They forget the motto " One shot one kill". Not 30 shots 30 follow ups ! LMAO!!!!
JimTL1000R 2 years ago
Exactly... if you cant do it in one round.. you should not have the weapon..
emtffzartman 2 years ago
nicely said.
TheComplementor 2 years ago
Why go with a carbine set up for long range? I wouldent have gone any shorter then a mid-length or rifle-length gas system with at the minimum 16"barrel. The colt is a great rifle so why the cheap scope and base?
saabaru05 2 years ago
Read the other comments.. I explain a few times.. It was just for fun..
emtffzartman 2 years ago
The p89 is a joke man, kinda like your vids. Know anything about ipsc?
rugerp89ipsc 2 years ago
I have heard of ipsc. I am fully aware of how far my rifle can shoot, and what effective range is. I dont need you to tell me that kind of stuff. I do go to shooting events and am quite good. I never claim to be tactical, I state the rifle is tactical. I also state I do not shoot with the scope much. It was cheap and was different, so I mess around with it for fun. And that I dont even do much. Dont be a dick..
emtffzartman 2 years ago
200 yards huh? after 300 you want a bolt gun? That carbine should be effective with iron sights to 600m, you need to check your local area and see about doing some appleseed shoots and actually learning something about your rifle, shooting and marksmanship before posting up your tacticool awesomeness bro.
And unless you are using a larue or arms mount on that scope, I would not trust your zero to be the same pulling off that cheap scope for you LONG range set up videos.
rugerp89ipsc 2 years ago
The gun looks cool with the 30rnder but it sure looks dumb as shit with the bipod mounted against the mag well.
What is "long range" for you?
rugerp89ipsc 2 years ago
To me long range starts at about 200 yard. But the longest range around me is a 300 yard range so I dont have a place to shoot longer stuff. If I had a longer range I would be using a Bolt action rifle. Ohh, and I dont think my bipod looks dumb at all.. its not nearly as ugly as a Ruger P89.. They are ugly ass pistols..
emtffzartman 2 years ago
Oh and I hate the .223/5.56 for target takedown. You'll make em bleed but it wont stop em like my AK:~) Or a 7.62 upper which I might opt in for later....
Dman40475 2 years ago
The 5.56 might not have the stopping power of a 7.62, but it will rip you up inside..
emtffzartman 2 years ago
When did you experience this lack of takedown? So the guy you shot only bleed a bit? Youtube self declared expert.
saabaru05 2 years ago
Never said I was an expert... Depends on the rifle, the ammo, wind, elevation.. but generally if the bullet is still in the air at 1000 yards it will less effective. But, getting hit with a .223 that is moving slowly is bad. They tend to bounce off of bones inside of a body. The small rounds are more likely to do this faster than a large round. I have not seen this, but have many friends that were in combat and told me this. The range does vary though. lots of variables.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
While I agree that the 7.62 is a superior "damage causing" cartridge... the accuracy of an AK is not useful for anything past 150m. They generally have 3-5 MOA (which is good for our troops, cause the terrorists already suck at aiming!)
thediscgolfkid 2 years ago
I agree.. I am glad our military is not up against the M-16 or even a Mauser K98... I am really not an AK-47 guy. Heck i would take an SKS before and AK. They can be fired with dirt in them, but thats not everything.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
Actually contrary to many peoples views, I'd slap a good 10x fixed or a good 3-9x on it. Irons are fine and good and you need to be familiar with those first but a scope is very useful. My eyes suck ass thats why I'd opt for a 10x and not a 3x-9x. And I have a very hard time shooting through irons because of atigmatism and acute shitty vision disease so a scope on my 16" aint so ridiculous
Dman40475 2 years ago
What is the longest distance you have shot a human silhouette with this scope and rifle? And how was the accuracy at various distances?
Cool XD. I have one, but it's a 4" black .40 S&W. I should have bought a .45 ACP because the rounds, at least where I live, are cheaper and more available than .40 S&W. Crazy how market economics work huh? Just because of that, I bought a Kahr CW45.

Well thank you.. Glad to see you are helping get my views higher..
emtffzartman 2 years ago
That scope is over kill on a M-4. The range is only about 500 meters and a good shooter should be able to connect most round on a man sized target at that range.
fsvaio 2 years ago
Yes... I know.. I have the scope for giggles..
emtffzartman 2 years ago
CCW a a full length fire arm!? why mot opt for the compact?
Juice56107 2 years ago
I didnt say it was a full length firearm... Optics were mounted to show that it can be done and for the fun of it. at 200 yards it very accurite. And I say in the video it is not used much.. Thanks for commenting.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
overscoped

Mine? Yes I agree.. But it was a cheap scope. I dont like using it at all. Just showing options.

I have already played this game before.. yes I said it wrong.. It might be because i am PA Dutch...
emtffzartman 2 years ago
Why don't you choose a use for colt, either long range or CQB, Why have a flashlight if your shooing for distance? A solid stock is better for more accuracy. Why not a longer barrel? I do agree with your scope mount as I had the same one. Move your bipods foreword, or you might as well use the 30 rd mag as a mono pod. 20 rd mags aren't for pussies, why have a 30 round mag, your not coming under enemy ambush or anything. Anyway, Informative video. nice time span.
Adam160 2 years ago
Ok. I got the rifle for a few uses.. the least used is the long range shooting. but they are very accurate at long range. I do agree with all the things u listed if I was going for hard core long range shooting. But I would never use a Mag as a monopod.. it causes misfeeds.

yeah i understand the quad rails, they are heavy and expensive. but if you need a self defense rifle as i said before u should pick an Eotech or a Bushnell holosight.
cokeman2423 2 years ago
Shotgun is my first line defense, then springfield, then colt. I do want an EoTech though.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
EoTech is needed also some quad picatinny rails and last but not least a backup flip up sight. Other than that you rifle is a very fine choice
cokeman2423 2 years ago
I could see an EoTech sometime soon. I am not big on the quad rails.. And I would do the back up sights if I had an EoTech.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
do you take it hunting if you do what ammo cause i was going to take mine hunting
Deermurderer36 2 years ago
Well in my state I can not hunt with a semi-auto.. so I do not hunt with it. Just a sport and self defence rifle.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
what brand is that bipod
and how tall is it?
m1insane 3 years ago
It is a Harris Bipod. They sell for about $100. It has legs that are 6" and extend to 9". It also has built in side to side swivel. Very nice bipod.
emtffzartman 3 years ago
Can you grasp the front of the receiver with it mounted that close?
ChristianArmorOfGod 2 years ago
No I cannot, but with the bipod on I dont hold the rifle that way. It comes off in seconds.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
I understand it can, but then again you wouldn't want to loose it in a stressful combative engagement either... It just looked too close, and I was confirmed.
ChristianArmorOfGod 2 years ago
For the application of the bipod it would be for longer distance. Its not much different than an M-60 and the bipod set up, yes it is closer to the action but the bi-pod its self can be held when folded or the front hand guard is easy to hold while the bipod is unfolded.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
ok i have a dpms sweet 16(ar15 with 16 inch bull barel and free float) what is a good long range scope on the cheap i am using a 3x9x27 and it is not cuting it
plz help
pkruskamp 3 years ago
What price range are you looking for? I would try for the $300 range if I were going cheap. I have a BSA, people say they are junk but I can hit what I aim at. mine goes up to 24 power. I am not an expert on scopes and have really only looked at high end stuff like EOTech and Trijicon. For the most part you get what you pay for. Bushnell has some nice scopes too. My rule of thumb is if it has a focus and a parallax adjustment you are looking in the right direction. Google it. lol
emtffzartman 3 years ago
dont skimp on your optic, your rifle is only as good as your optic.
jimbo45cal 2 years ago
I hear that... I have seen that on the range. I am getting good with iron sights tho. more of a challenge to me.
emtffzartman 2 years ago
if your looking on affordable decent scope try some of the simmons scopes i have a couple on 2 of my ar-15s and they hold zeros fine

They are getting hard to find in some gun shops. If you are looking for a colt its even harder.

Man thats a nice set up. I've been looking for an M4 for about 2 months now and just cant get one. Hopefully I'll find one soon.
Good videos.

Well I am saving up for a 308 bolt action. Looking at the Rem. 700LE or maybe even Savage LE. I like the Barrett 50 bmg and the FNH 308 but hey are expensive!!!
emtffzartman 3 years ago
Tactical, house clearing, CQC practice... Then what I have is perfect. Soo. no difference in accuracy? But there is a difference in velocity... How does that work? I may not be a sniper but last time I checked velocity has alot to do with accuracy at long range... and I am not going to hand load for a 223 semi-auto. Waste of time unless I am going to long range (200 yards plus)and that I am not going for...
emtffzartman 3 years ago
Well well well. Thank you for the advice... But Firsts of all the scope is not used much, I got it for a great price, I am not made of money. I am a real person who has a house and a family. The scope is for fun! I mounted the Bi-pod there because I am not buying the free float HG because for my use of closer tactial shooting I dont need it. I am going to be getting a 308 bolt to do long range, just takes us normal people time to save money..
emtffzartman 3 years ago
Is that scope mount actually a repeat zero hold mount? As in, guaranteed RZH by its maker?
batbawls 3 years ago
No it is not guaranteed but I have had no problems with it keeping its zero. I am very careful with the scope when I mount it and what I do with it when its not on the rifle. I am not saying its perfect, but maybe 1 MOA or so. But thats with a middle of the road scope too...
emtffzartman 3 years ago
what kind of scope mount is that? brand make model? thanks i like the mount

lol thats what that gun is for holms. maybe he wants to shoot some1 breaking in to his manson were he might need a big ass scope, but still wants the tactic00l light for up close -_-
smittty1911 3 years ago
The scope is more for fun but I dont really use it much. Open sight tactical shooting is more fun with this rifle.
