Oh my grammar was awful,so let me correct it.I said in my comment that this particular video of past years of our beloved Ms.Livvy was shown here on youtube for some time and was removed .I had searched for this one in particular of her sitting on the floor with the candles all around her singing the enchanting melody of The Carpenters.Thank you for bringing back this wonderful and endearing diddy of a melody with our Olivia.
Olivia was very good friends with Karen Carpenter, she does a good job with this song but Karen was so unique it's hard for anyone to cover her songs and sound good.
she appeared in so many tv shows before her major start and intorduction to the USA,back then a singer had to give themselves 100% singing in every tv show they could get their hands on,why today , there are no venues no more like before to show off accept the morning shows shame.

OLivia and karen carpenter are two very different vocal styles and both deserve merit it their own right. Olivia brings her own warmth to this standard and has never tried to be ms carpenter. after all... they were best friends at the time!!!!
