Diablo 3 will have cooldown on potions so its already epic no more spamming potions and auction house when you can earn real money. You own you get moneys you suck at gaming you dont get moneys. this is what people are getting at with D3 looking like wow, the textures are currently soft and appear cel-shaded. dont get me wrong its not like im not gonna play diablo 3, but diablo 1 was especially dark and gritty, thats the only complaint i have with D3 so far... its making me despise warcraft though... partly because ive preffered diablo and starcraft.

I think the 256 color limitations for the time indirectly helped D1 and D2 with their atmomshere. I'm guessing that if Diablo 1 would have just come out it would be similar in color to D3. IMO.

I used to play this when I was a wee girl of about eight years of age. It was so frightening to me at that time. Now, eight years later, I am still loyal to the amazon and the game itself. Diablo II is one of my favourite games along with Arcanum: Steamworks & Magick Obscura. I would much rather have companies these days invest more time in the story and plot of a game and not the graphics. I like the old school PC graphics better - they don't end up puzzling you and lagging doing that 3D thing.
