If this dude was scammed then he wouldn't have recieved the goods. jeez. anyway i think if your going to buy one of these you have to spend as least $150 to $200, and buy it from a high street shop and there you might even get a demo. Cheers

@TheGodParticle Over here we have Amazon Prime, 2 day free shipping and if you don't like the products or if it's faulty you get free shipping back. Just go online to Amazon, print a label and put your piece of crap back in the box and it will be sent back from whenst it came! Excellent for trying out new products and dealing with junk ones like this. Not been in an electronic shop in years mate, get with the program tis 2012!

You're right that the quality is crappy, but just a small correction. It's not actually the MJPEG codec causing the crappy image, it's the cheap CMOS sensor, plastic lens and high compression used. MPJEG is actually capable of very high quality if a low compression is used, however with larger file sizes. Modern codecs give you the same quality with smaller file sizes. Even if this camera had H.264 it would still be crappy. The sensor just can't produce images with high enough definition.

Not really. If I bought it from you I would probably have got scammed :) !!! Google Amazon prim - . You get the merchandise within 2 days, no shipping charges, then if you don't like it you go online and print out a shipping label and place the package on your front porch and a nice man in a big truck comes by and picks it up and it gets shipped back to the bugger who sold it to you - ALL FOR FREE!! Sure if I was in downtown Joburg and bought it off some street vendor I'd be hosed.
