What are you talking about? I'm pretty handy with PCs, but that's irrelevant. Even my grandma could read the specs and see that this phone has wifi. Just put this in google and search it "htc hd2 use as router".

htc hero is the best htc phone to date...its not just anroid it has but the potencial for it is larger then this phone. i love the huge screen but the hd2 is very buggy & runs on slow ass windows. if you want a windows phone then great but i have a laptop for that lol
Fair enough, I don't agree but everyone has different opinions. I agree that windows mobile is traditionally pretty slow, but with the sense UI and the huge processor speed and RAM in this phone, it even manages to make windows mobile run smooth and sleek!

True, android phone is amazing, but I can just about settle with windows mobile here thanks to the gloss HTC has managed to put on it, and on balance I can accept this due to the amazing spec-sheet of the HD2. As for the bad reviews, where are these?! I've been looking at lots recently, google HTC HD2 review and the first 5 (at least) are incredibly positive, in fact the very first one says "It dwarfs the Hero with a more responsive screen and its Wi-Fi routing ability".

Well, you're right, it is a big phone- but it's a smartphone, more of a hybrid between a laptop and a phone than something which just makes calls! It is pretty big but it is really thin which makes it pretty easy to hold and slip in your pocket, and it is fairly weighty but not overly so! Well, stick with your hero anyway, android's applications rule! In a few months the HTC Passion, which is basically this phone with android, will be out; I just can't wait that long, though.

the problem compared to iphone is, that the iphone does have a seperate graphic chip (PowerVR) so it works smoother in all graphic applications and 99,9% of all smartphones on the market doesn't have one. I don't know how htc managed the OS and CPU work together so smooth maybe a fine tuning on the softwareside.
If they only just put another OS on it.. most of the devices that look so good and promising, like the Xperia from SE, and this one.. name it, are very disappointing only because of the shitty OS aka Windows Mobile.

N900...... It's a Nokia, great os, beautiful camera, great graphics, a gig of application memory, and physical keyboard. Pen input is great too. Exceptional internet browser, great games and .......... etc.. Plus better value.

But 1: It's Apple, so it sells
2: It is elegant
3: It does have the best App Store by far
(4: At the beginning, it was one of the first known touchscreendevices)

I knew HD is great.and i have seen how amazing is the screen. somehow i like the firefox more than the safari. it's just too big for my hands... i can't handle it tight with one hand . but it's prefect fit for my boyfriend. it's my problem, not htc's. i miss the high quality big screen all the time.

this isnt bigger....its almost the same size....because the screen is bigger and it covers more surface of the phone....

yes it is. it runs the snapdragon processor. 1ghz. lightning fast.
