  • This is amazing *___*

  • HIIIIIIIZZZZZAAAAKKKKIII

  • This is a great band!

    All there music is good!

And Kamijo has a great voice! I'm still sad, Jasmine You died!

  • God Kamijo!! I wanna have your babies!!! DX

  • I destroyed my twin brother I showed him a picture of these guys and he said "WOW they are HOT" he started making all these suggestions of what he would do to Hizaki when he was done i said "They're men" and had the pleasure of seeing him shrink a little from the comp and he was like "you're lying" then I showed him them without makeup then he proceeded to drag all of his friends over to the computer and I had the pleasure of watching them all question thier sexuality for a small moment in time

  • when i saw a poster of them in my Japanese class i thought the two guys were girls but i was completely wrong lol

  • Perfect!♥

  • I think Kamijo's voice really suits Versailles style

  • X_X TERUUUUUUUUUUU :X:X:X

  • Agrrr! I hate when boys in visual kei who dresses like a girl has to be more gorgeous like a girl.

The mouthing timing isn't right... hmmm....

I love you Hizaki ( I cant forget Jasmine, I love you too),

HIZAKI! I want to know your make up secret to look gorgeous!

    hmph...

    Love ya VERSAILLES

  • I LOVE These Guys They're Amazing And All Completely Beautiful [=

Jasmine We Will Love You Forever! You're Still Beautiful and Talented Babe! <3

  • I really love this PV. It has a terrifying beauty about it, even if it does give me seizures from all the flashing. ^_^

  • genial versailles lo maximoo!!!

  • you know at first when I saw them I thought they were too beautiful to be taken seriously as a band.... but their music is too awesome and Hizaki is too great to NOT be taken seriously

Unlike that so called world famous Tokio hotel that recently visited japan, first ppl thought they are too pretty to be taken seriously but their music makes it worse :P

  • @Cheiko18 tokio hotel is better than visual kei -_-

  • @knightdragons7 you're deaf aren't you? its ok! nothing to be ashamed of.

  • @Cheiko18 no deaf here dude

I just think tokio hotel is better than most of visual kei

few exeptions like sug or phantasmagoria but overall toki hotel is better for me

But hizaki looks girlier than bill so I'll give them a point for trying

  • @knightdragons7 That's be true if you knew that Bill took his style from Visual Kei :/

So... you might want to respect VK and the fact it inspired your little Tokio Hotel

And, I'm sorry but they SUCK in compared to majority of VK music. Tom can't shred on guitar like Hizaki and teru can.

And, I went to a Tokio Hotel concert. I was a fan. But Humanoid sucked. So... my fandom faded from them.

J-Rock has much more talent than majority of english music in general.

  • @KyoLover2011 now you assume I love tokio hotel or taht I'm a super fanboy

of course not, I like other music, your favorite enemies, goo goo dolls, 30 seconds to mars would be my favorites So I don't know a lot of stuff about tokio hotel

but the little of tokio hotel I've heard Is better than the little of let's say versailles, nightmare, megaromania, etc

As I said the only ones I think ere superior to tokio hotel is SuG and just a few songs like alterna and Scheat

  • @knightdragons7 I love Goo Goo Dolls. What are you talking about? XD

I'm sorry. I love SuG and Takeru is my second J-Rock obsession... but they're a happy bright band that doesn't really stand up to Versailles or Megaromania. Nightmare, yes. Especially in their Sendai Komatsu personas XD

Think of the technicalities. The talent in the guitars, the vocals, the aesthtics. I'm sorry, but Tokio Hotel is way too basic of a pop rock band.

Not even in the same genre as those you listed.

  • @KyoLover2011 I was just saying those are my favorite bands so you don't misinterpret that I love tokio hotel or that they are my favorites, I know they are simple pop but for me thay are better than megaromania, versailles, etc

so you can understand I'll place them in a list

goo goo dolls, Your favorite enemies etc

    SuG

    Tokio hotel

Other visual kei bands, versailles included

sorry dude I just don't like visual kei just like some people don't like chocolate cake whereas others love it

  • @knightdragons7 That's perfectly fine to prefer them over Versailles but to those who actually know how music is made and how detailed the songs are... Tokio Hotel doesn't stand up to Versailles in musical skill. that's all I'm saying

You could've simply stated you don't like VK instead of comparing Versailles & Tokio Hotel when alot of VK enthusiasts are rather educated in music.

  • @KyoLover2011 Firt of all I wasn't the one who compared visual kei with tokio hotel to start with

and secind . How music Is made and how detailed the songs are? visual kei?

you mean their music is more detailed than let's say the goo goo dolls?

please it doesn't matter how well the guitars sound if the lyrics don't mean a thing or at least a logical one

that's why I like SuG better than this kinf of bands like versailles and stuff because the lyrics in some SuG's songs actually mean something

  • @knightdragons7 No, you didn't start it but you didn't help with the comment: "Tokio Hotel is better than Visual Kei -_-" you still compared it too.

That's where you're right and wrong. The whole thing about a BAND and MUSIC is everyone has to be in sync with one another. the Goo Goo Dolls are detailed in their genre while Versailles is detailed in it's own. Again, you cannot compare them when they aren't the same language or genre.

  • @knightdragons7 have you looked up the lyrics for Destiny - The Lovers -? Ascendead Master? especially Serenade!?

I'm sorry. I'm a mega SuG fan but most happy dance songs they have (L.E.D. Ghosty) aren't too lyrically meaningful. Love Scream Party, Umbilical, Alterna, & Scheat are some of their less goofy songs. because they're "Heavy Positive Rock" they have a tendency to be seen as goofy & unserious.

VK Bands such as ones you listed have complex lyrics for touching on deep subjects

  • @KyoLover2011 exaclty alterna and scheat are the ones I meant

as for those you mentioned the only one I find worth listening for the lyrics is serenade but I cannot find sense in the other ones honestly

but when I heard for example the revenant choir First is Horrible english pronuciation and then the lyrics seem to have been written by a teenager twilight fangirl or a poser goth

  • @knightdragons7 They're Japanese... of course they're going to have horrible english. That's why the j-rock fans call it "engrish".

And all of their music is supposed to be more of the Gothic Victorian element and symphonic metal. And if you couldn't find sense, then you didn't read it over a few times. Majority of Japanese music is constructed in a difficult way when translated in english. Ex: It took me 4 reads of the GazettE's DIM Scene until I understood it.

  • @KyoLover2011 that is called engrish doesn't eliminate the fact that sounds horrible, " in a dificult way when it's traslated in english" lol you couldn't find other better thing to defend it?

    flow

    nightmare

    SuG

    nico touches the wall

    nana kitade

and a lot of J-pop makes sense when it's traslated

  • @knightdragons7 and if you'll go with the excuse that is complex because is gothic or something like that, well marilyn manson's or the cures's music actually makes sense so stop saying senseless things to defend that style which is only good for the instrumental

  • @knightdragons7 I was never going to go with that "Excuse". You're also comparing english music to japanese music. Both are far different from one another. (hence why many of us listen to J-rock)

And what about Kanon Wakeshima? She's more j-pop but her music is produced by Mana (ex-Malice Mizer) and borders the Gothic genre (as well as cabaret with the song Princess Charleston). it too is complex lyrical construction.

  • @knightdragons7 Don't try to belittle me just because you don't understand the lyrical construction that is much of the J-Rock genre.

If you want the answers, fine. I'll tell you what Shouts & Bites is about: The rose (which is much referred to as Versailles's symbol and to describe each member) is used as a weapon to fight the "god of death". All the members are trying to show Death that they are superior. And, the character Versailles seldom portrays that is superior to death is a vampire.

  • @knightdragons7 And just to ask, have you ever taken a foreign language?

Have you ever tried to translate something from that language into english?

I took french for 4 years and we diagnosed songs sung by Gregory LeMarchal. Translating it out literally word for word...it made no sense. After we moved it around and added some necessary english elements, it was clearer. It still took a few reads until we finally understood what he meant and the meaning was beautiful.

    THAT is my point.

  • @KyoLover2011 dude english is not my main language

so that should give you an idea if I had tried to traslate something to my language or not

  • @knightdragons7 I saw that after sending the comment.

Funny since you speak so highly that you know what the message is (or "lack of" a message). What translations are you reading?

Therefore all your debating and reasoning of "why Versailles is only good for instrumentation" is null & void.

You can't even come to grips with the fact lyrics is poetry and poetry can be made strictly of metaphors and setting (just like Shouts & Bites is) but still set a message.

It's all how you interpret it.

  • @KyoLover2011 well as an example you could tell me what is your interpretation of the revenant choir, to me it just sounds like a wanna be vampire but well illuminate me

  • @knightdragons7 Considering, again, they like to portray themselves theatrically as vampires- that's a good start for yourself.

But how I look at The Revenant Choir is sort of like Versailles introduction for the fans about themselves. The song is them saying that they are immortal and therefore their music will live on. They don't plan to disappear anytime soon. The world of j-rock will be their's (and, it almost is. They're one of the highest reguarded bands in the VK scene)

  • @KyoLover2011 well that's friggin stupid, i was kidding when I said they were wanna be vampires, I never though they indeed were wanna be vampires

well guess I'll let this as it is already because I'm everytime more dissapointed

PD i listened some visual kei songs to reconfirm and I liked some of the nightmare,s phantasmagoria's, SuG's, and hizaki grace project's(instrumental ones) and were pretty good actually but about versailles everyone sounds worse than the last one except for serenade

  • @knightdragons7 It's not "stupid". You have to think theatrically. You have to look into what they are portraying and how each album is like stepping back into the world of aristocrats with the small fantasy catch of them being vampiric. It's actually rather artistic. You have to look at it from an artistic stand point. Think of poetry and exquisite story telling- THAT is what Versailles does with music. They mix both wonderful elements.

  • @KyoLover2011 >_> not sure if serious

however I like music that is about emotions not some weird dude pretending to be a vampire and dressing in a funny way

well I guess it's a matter of likes but for me if I wanna hear about a vampire guy I'll read Bram stroker's dracula, now that is a vampire not this weird guys(?)

  • @knightdragons7 You have to first understand why he is dressed as a vampire do you know what and Ascendead master is? The expression "Ascended Master" seems to come from the Theosophical concept of "Mahatmas" It refers to a human being that, thanks to his many life experiences and reincarnations, reached enlightment, and now he is someway a god-like being that is to teach and save humanity. The Vampire is a good choice b/c Jesus was thought to ba an ascendead master so it is very controversial.

  • @booboobitxch666 not sure if serious again

that's how a vampire would dress? for real? in what universe

If lestat, dracula and other real vampires saw them they would... well they wouldn't die because they're already dead but they'd feel so wrong in so many diferent levels that it's hard to describe

I don't remember jesus dressing as that in any of the paintings I've seen of him BTW

  • @knightdragons7 Serious as can be and may I ask have you ever seen Lestat? He dresses just the same they dress from a different era... So your problem is with how they dress not what they embody? Lol it seems foolish to spend so much time and energy commenting on thier clothes

  • @booboobitxch666 are we talking about the same lestat? the last time I saw him he was dressed with actual clothes from that era

    not this flashy costumes

but the problem isn't the way they dress since nightmare and phantasmagoria dress weird as well and still have some good songs

the only problem I see with their clothes is that some people insists to call tokio hotel faggots while the guitarrist of versailles looks so girly

but my only complain is their music not the way the're dressed up

  • @knightdragons7 I don't even know who Tokio Hotel is. If you don't like thier music I do not see the gun held to your head forcing you to listen to them. I however love thier music the fact that some of them dress as women is just Icing on the cake they have amazing songs and are extremely versatile from awesome songs like ascendead master, and red carpet day, sweet ballads like serenade, and Masquerade and blatantly sexual songs like Libido. Let us enjoy them and do not pollute the comments.

  • @booboobitxch666 I just responded a coment insulting tokio hotel which I didn't really like

I mean well I see no problem with you but with the guys that call other bands bad but cannot stand others calling theirs bad

I mean tell me? is good to call bill klauitz a faggot but bad to call hizaki a faggot?hope you get the point since you are the only one here that is asking something in a polite way and not just calling others stupids or faggots

  • @knightdragons7 It's not OK to call anyone a faggot I honestly wasn't insulting them I have no problem if you listen to Tokio Hotel and you are entitled to your opinion, all I ask is that you respect mine. I love music aside from most mainstream pop and Rap. I had never heard of Tokio Hotel but I listened to them, honestly they are not my thing and if you like them thats your choice. I don't think sexuality should even be a factor when it comes to good music, just the music itself

  • @booboobitxch666 don't worry it's ok

I don't really like tokio hotel anyway

my style is more inclined to the goo goo dolls(rock) type, your favorite enemies type(indie) or the armor for sleep type(emo)

i also respect versailles but I just didn't like people insulting tokio hotel and as I noticed after a little trolling they don't like that someone insult versailles so they shouldn't do it in the first time

  • @knightdragons7 See i'm a punk/metal girl I like County Medical Examiners,Lamb Of God, Slip Knot, Anti-Flag, and GOB. I also like Queen and oldies Honestly I like all music aside from pop and whatever rock now is and days. I also like some Lady Gaga and some Katy Perry. I also love Versailles, X Japan, and Gazette. I understand that everyone is entitled to thier opinion and they have no right to troll on songs they don't like and then get mad when someone trolls on a song or group they like

  • @booboobitxch666 that's what I meant

I just hate when other people insult tokio hotel, or other music groups since even if I don't like them I know I wouldn't like them to insult the music I like

and aparently they did like to insult tokio hotel but didn't like it when someone (In this case me) was insulting versailles, any way I won't ever understand my point but oh well

  • @knightdragons7 I try to be fairly politically correct I try not to be negative when I comment

  • @knightdragons7 Have you seen Kamijo in Ascendead Master? The frilly white top, open cuff sleeves, high-waisted pants, boots- that's similar to what Lestat wore, silly.

This is called NEO-VICTORIAN. "Neo" is what they place in front of fashion genres to describe that it's MODERN.

Last time I checked, Dracula was a flashy man because it was his way of attracting women for their blood.

You took the whole ascendead master and jesus thing too literal. No one said he dressed flashy, derp.

  • @KyoLover2011 I'm getting tired of this, if you want to hear to your wanna-be gothvampiresvictoriandemigods or whatever they are prettending to be that's good for you, just don't mix other bands in this because most of them ara better for the sole reason that their lyrics have sense to "normal" people and not just for weabos or "cult" people

no wonder why no one that doesn't like anime know about versailles but a lot of people know tokio hotel in japan

  • @knightdragons7 You make me want to pull my hair out. They're not "wannabe" because they don't WANT to be vampires- they're just portraying them like an actor would portray a character. it works in music too.

And it IS for normal people. You're calling everyone here cult or weeaboo when that is not the case. Anyone with an artistic mind would understand what their music is about.

And you don't need anime to like Versailles- I know alot of people who dislike anime but love j-rock. Point fail.

  • @knightdragons7 And, I'm sorry, but alot of people don't find Tokio Hotel, The Cure, or Marilyn Manson "normal".

Try attending my school where everything is either Rap or Country.

I have ALWAYS been abnormal; a japanophile; a visual kei enthusiast.

I would LOVE for you to tell me what is normal? There is NO SUCH THING as "normal".

What you're looking for is lyrics that make sense to SIMPLE people.

It's a shame you don't wish to educate yourself more with complex composition.

  • @knightdragons7 I'm very serious.

As booboobitxch said, Lestat dressed in victorian era clothing. I love Interview With A Vampire & seen the movie 4 times. Anyone with the fashion knowledge would know he was a classical victorian vampire.

That's the beauty of Visual Kei- you can portray characters through the music. They're not real vampires, kumkwat. It's a CHARACTER. Tom Cruise isn't a vampire; he just played one.

Have you NOT heard of the best character portrayal VK band, Malice Mizer?

  • @knightdragons7 will you please stop comparing versailles ang tokio hotel!!!!!

the music of versailles is more different than tokio hotel ,versailles is a hard rock band and we love it!!

    so stop that!damn.....

  • @augustvili I'm not the one that started it though

  • @Sriake you call another band faggot's when the guitarrist of versailles is hotter AND girlier than most of the girls in my school? talking about logic

  • @knightdragons7 That doesn't make the band gay... lol, it just means you are attracted to a male, which is fine. It was a metaphor btw.

If you want to support the band go else where because I can guarantee most here couldn't care less for them. How about that for logic?

  • @Sriake well yeah I gotta admit that I'm atracted to him somehow I mean who wouldn't?

but the point is that if they didn't care they wouldn't have mentioned it to begin with so if you don't like hearing bad things about your faggot band don't say bad things about other faggot band(in this case tokio hotel)

PD i din't say they were a gay band I just found it ironic that a versailles' fan call anyone else a faggot

  • @knightdragons7 I'm not gay and nor are the band they just take Visual Kei to the extreme so why would it be ironic? Btw, Why are you on this video? because it is certainly not for the music.

  • why is this their least viewed pv?

  • 単にすばらしい

  • Does this song and The Red Carpet Day go along with Revenant Chior? They seem to tell a connected story

  • @bbqueen1110 yes

  • is this really their pv ????

    or just a fan-made???

  • this music video is crap but hizaki is still a fox

  • awesooooome~

  • Jamine, we'll always be by your side!!

    We love you forever.

  • jasmine you rest in peace

  • +_+ kamijo is my future hubbi. he is just soo...soo...SEX.

    ;]

  • @estherkang Kamijo's sexiness goes above sex.

He's so handsome that he's almost sexless.

  • @JosiePosiePoodles That's intense.

  • @estherkang Tell me about it. Kamijo is intense.

  • wow i love this band!!!

    :) ^8^

  • Happy Birthday Jasmine You, Aishiteru! <3

  • Teruuuu. :D

  • hizaki*_*<3 This song rules<33

  • this video is NOT for the epilectic.

i... love this song. scratch that, i love this BAND. i adore kamijo's now low voice. his lareine voice was...odd.

  • *stares at HIZAKI* how a can a guy b sooooooo pretty??? TT *is so jealous*

  • Kamijo te amoooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

  • This is gonna be my second favorite song by Versailles. Thanks for uploading!

  • My first run-in with Versailles. Kamijo sounds so much better now. Thanks for this!

  • your welcome! and yea, kamijo is great! ^^

  • I used to not like him at all (his Lareine voice irritated me, I don't like Lareine much anyway), but this song has given me new respect for him. Plus Hizaki owns!! ^_^!!

  • oh haha I see... and yes I'm so in love with hizaki and his work.. and the hizaki grace project with juka! XDD
