  • serious man

  • Saw him at this years Glastonbury, fantastic. Good cover too, Vera Hall's will always be the best though imo

  • Cracking cover

  • I have put a tab for the chords on ultimate guitar

  • thumbs up if gojko ajkula send you here!

  • The original is brilliant, the Moby remix is brilliant, this cover is brilliant...you just can't go wrong with this song.

  • @AlienShip95 If you know anything about the context of field hollers and folk spirituals, the last adjective that should come to mind would be "brilliant."

  • @LongTallYamlaJay I'm not sure what your problem is, but if you know anything about the definition of the world "brilliant" the last thing that should come to mind would be that I was referring to the subject matter as a positive thing rather than the song as a great one. I called the song brilliant because it's so deeply sorrowful and authentic, and obviously the history of it is a big part of that.

  • @AlienShip95 If this is "positive" "subject matter," why not enslave another couple million people and flog them for a couple centuries.

  • @LongTallYamlaJay Seriously, what is wrong with you? I just explicitly said that I wasn't calling the subject matter positive, and you ridiculously misread my comment again! You are obviously so set on pinning me as some supporter of slavery that you misinterpreted what I said to the exact opposite of what I meant. Go back and read my comment again, I think the syntax and sentence structure may have tripped you up the first time.

  • @LongTallYamlaJay Now if your trying to tell me you don't think it's an amazing song, then I guess I understand the point of your comment, but if you were just assuming I was a clueless person who was doing anything else than appreciating the quality of the song, then I really can't wrap my head around how you could misread what I said so ridiculously.

  • can somebody tell me the last chord.. i think the first ones are b, A, G, and then?? can't figure it out! please help!!

  • paolo is amazin but have to say what a guitarist

  • Fantastic! Glad I lived long enough to see him. Better than elvis, beatles and bob dylan (who was great at writing but damn, all he can't sing, all he can do is grunt.) Those still living & playing might just as well stay home.

  • @MsWinedarksea

How many comments are you going to leave??

Better than Elvis? I think not!

Better than The Beatles? Definately not!

    Better than Bob Dylan? Hmmmm..

Paolos absolutely brilliant, amazing even, in his own category.. He can only get better, and i cant wait to hear his future material, but if you are going to leave numerous comments dont repeat yourself, and write something thats more realistic :)

    Thanks

  • Fantastic! Glad I lived long enough to see him. Better than elvis, beatles and bob dylan (who was great at writing but damn, all he can't sing, all he can do is grunt.)

  • like it better than Vera Hall. Sorry Vera. I can understand the words when he sings but not when talks, I'm sorry to say. I've tried. Need a course in Scots English.

  • Wow! He's so talented it just takes your breath away! So talented at such a young age. I hope he doesn't burn out. Or have some nasty upset with manager or producers, or whoever, stealing money......man, he's cool in front of a crowd.

  • Paolo ..telented young boy ....... love him

  • loveable

  • The song is not called "Trouble so hard" you potatohead...

It's called Natural Blues and you should know it!

  • So the BBC got it wrong aswell did they?

  • Read my comment again. Try understand...

  • Well actually "Trouble So Hard" is an old gospel song that Moby used a sample of in his song "Natural Blues". So Technically he is singing "Trouble So Hard". However on a radio show Paolo said he was covering the Moby song "Natural Blues". Then again he might have changed the title to avoid paying royalties to Moby (probably large) so he would only have to pay royalties to the estate of whoever it is singing this on the Alan Lomax collection cd

  • what!? this isn't no woman no cry???

  • No, this is Natrual Blues by Moby.

    Very good song.

    Much slower than this.
