where as these other directors have made a hell alot more films which, honestly, i can say are alot better than inception. because of the techniques used. nolan films have amazing writing but arent as visually striking as kill bill or as exciting as dinosaurs in modern times

@CrimsonRGU I have actually. Jurassic Park and Psycho were two of the most memorable films ever made (Kill Bill to this day remains one of my favorite films ever made). I know other films can and have made me think, the problem is that most dont try anymore. Inception is a perfect example; honestly Nolan didnt have to put any thought into that movie at all, his name on the project alone would draw an audience but instead he chose to give a story and experience unlike any other.
@CrimsonRGU Even though hes only released 7 films, I personally think he already has made his mark. If nothing else hes one of the most inspirational directors in hollywood right now, his first movie Following was very well done and so was insomina, and every film after has been nothing short of amazing, but its understandable why so many simply see him as "The guy who brought Batman back from the dead".

If nothing else hes one of the most inspirational directors in hollywood right now, his first movie Following was very well done and so was insomina, and every film after has been nothing short of amazing, but its understandable why so many simply see him as "The guy who brought Batman back from the dead".

Also, Paranormal Activity isn't a scary movie, and sure, it IS based on real life events, but Steven Speilburg portrays the story horribly and wrong. I regret seeing the movie and the sequel.
