Nice music and a great video. Looking at that man @ 0:52 holding that skull shows the power behind a beak that size. I love birds for pets, but man can you imagine taming one of these.
question?....will be possible that this animal live today?.......i from mexico and i saw something flying in the nigth.......no sound, no noise,...grey color, fast and very close of me........maybe 20m up of me........never saw the face, just the wing...ok?.....no joke....really
@28rori Posiblemente fue algun pajaro nocturno grande, quizas un condor o algo similar. No se en verdad pero seria lindo volver a un animal como quetzalcoatlus vivo otra vez.
i love its name it was probably named after the two headed snake quetzacoatle who the Aztec believed would return to them but when the Spanish found the new world(south America) the aztecs thought it was there god quetzacoatle so greeted the aztecs allthough they were wrong and butchered athalumpas army :/
i just imagine this best as a vulture with skin.Probably the head of this Cretaceous pterosaur was like a stork, naked with skin around the eyes and isolated hair around.About the diet, i think that he was an omnivore, due to his continental habitat.
i think i would've been GREAT to have the chance to see one of this huge flying creatures, i mean, alive.....imagine that, they're the closest version of flying dragons of mythology... and i personally think they were not so agressive....i see them as peaceful creatures eating fish primarily...but there's no doubt they were awesome reptiles
yeah i was leaning towards either jazz or elevator music for this thing myself ...
>.>
but thats of course when it had access to a radio, any other day the stupid ipod vendors of those days didn't make dino ear buds so they fell out during flight.
Actually, scientific evidence proves that the quetzalcoatlus preferred any kind of metal, unlike the tyrannosaurus which listened solely to heavy metal or the protoceratops which listened to pop. Quetzalcoatli were also known to throw wild drug-infested parties which would have up to 16 different metal songs playing at once.
Although I am certain than many Artists Impressions of long extinct animals are widely(even if they are based on the best scientific data of the time)inaccurate. The image at 2:30 is very good.
I am D.R Cowgill from university of Utah. Im a Paleantologist who specializes in pterosaurs. Cool to be complomented by a Paleantologist huh. Cool music dude make more videos dude. Iv also seen your other tributes like Amargosaurus. That pterosaur is one of the largest the biggest is ornithachirus.
no ornithocheirus with a wingspan of 15 meter. and a body bigger then a human. quetzalcoatlus is smaller. with a wingspan of 10 meter. and the body is smaller
Mmmm right, there is also some kind of quetzalcoatlus in the Dinotopia movie... but still, we never get to see someone shoting them or being eaten by them, thats what i meant.

deserves the name for its winged serpent like appearance and size!!
p.s. if you dont know, quetzacoatle (probably spelled it wrong) is the feathered serpent god of the aztecs.

@dadragonlover I know, right? The animal itself is really cool, but the name just makes it even better! Whoever named it was a genius!

30 to 40 foot wing swans,up to 500lbs,most likly even bigger, like a small airplane, lastest thinking is they attacked smaller prey.

you fly on it to complete the levels
