What's misleading is Obey not disclosing his giving 2 Billion dollars to his lobbyist son in this deal. (That's BILLION) . The avererage household could work for 44,444 years to pay off that debt.

His son is a big money lobbyist for the National Parks Foundation. During the 2006 election when a Green Party candidate ran against him, he exposed the hypocrisy in a Harper's magazine article during a debate. Obey got pretty mad. Obey has been a absolute unprofessional prick to his constituents throughout his career and to anyone who dissents him.

I watched a video of Obey fighting with a constituent of his over war funding, he is your typical democrat even though they ran an anti-war platform in 06 and 08. Lie after lie with Obey and the rest of them.
