@briannacollins44 Ummm, it's my REAL hair. Everyone in my family has very thick hair, & I've been growing it for years, so it's very long. I don't use a lot of damaging chemical crap, rarely blow dry, & almost never curl or straighten. Hence, the hair is very healthy & strong & grows fast (no ends snapping off). I also try to eat a very healthy diet, which adds to the health of the hair.

Oh it's real! ;) Good genetics - my family all has super thick hair!! =) Took me about 2 years to grow it from an almost pixie cut to this. Grows about 1/2 inch a month.

Oh my God I LOVE it!! You've seen my hair, it's like yours, I've been wanting to get it cut for a few months now, I haven't had my hair cut in 5 years? I really want to get layers. Did they do tons of layers in the front of your hair? Or just a few long layers? Your hair looks so amazingly healthy! I'm jealous!

She did a lot of long layers in the back, and some long layers framing the face. It honestly feels like I've lost HALF of my hair - but you can't SEE it! ;p

The shortest layers are somewhere between shoulder & chin length... probably more like shoulder length.

I took a bunch of pictures along to show her what I had in mind.

I think you will love having long layers. Takes off a lot of the weight & adds some life. But it still looks long & thick overall.

Well, when i put my hair up earlier, in a bun, i was like "OMG I'm bald! What happened to all my hair!?" LOL Yeah, I actually said that out loud. It's so thick you can't SEE a difference, but she cut off a ton by adding layers. It was mostly one length before.

Oh thats Beautiful ♥ Mines that long but blonde. I want layers so bad but I'm terrified of cutting it. It's took about 14 years to grow just this much. Last cut was like a boy cut.

I'm afraid I'd be 40 before it grew back out some. My bangs are almost to my waist. It will not grow. And it's healthy. I only use heat on it maybe 6 times a year...always condition..I do trim the ends a bit. I treat it VERY well no dye and still no growth.

You got a beautiful color and curls. That is also a great price as you can see that I have short hair and was paying $160 a year ago for hair about four inches longer in the front, but the back was still basically shaved. Absolutely gorgeous! I had long blonde extensions last summer and they were so much fun. I live in a small town so within hours we were hearing about the new woman my husband was seeing..lol. hahaha my bf was all excited to be with this "new" red-streaked curly haired woman! So funny.

Last time i had major color & highlights done they charged me $300 for chin length hair, and it took 5 hours! That's not even including tips! Ugh! I didn't go back there. It wasn't even that amazing of a job! It was the salon that did the makeovers for MTV's Real World Philly cast, so I figured they be really good... mediocre ;)

Lots of raw smoothies & tons of Silicone hair goop ;p haha It's really all about coating the hair shaft with something that makes it look all slippery, shiny & smooth!

It was like $130 for the highlights & $30 for the cut. But she also did lowlights & an all over red gloss. I dunno ;) I was expecting to pay more, so i was happy! Last time i had color & highlights done they charged me $300 & it took 5 hours - on CHIN length hair!! (Different snooty salon of course!)

really thats not a bad price! The longer the hair the more they charge. I love doing color though. I think the most i have ever charged is $50 for highlights, lowlights and a cut. My hubby gets pissed because I undercharge. But I do a lot of *moms* and I'd rather have them spend more on their kids then their hair.
