  • Are there different ways to play these chords? Because i just watched another video where the guy had a cmajor nowhere near the 8th fret. I'm so confused.

  • Great great great 3 years after I m still a bigg fan Marty log. Man

  • it sounds alot like paradise-coldplay the G Bb F C instead

  • Bought my first guitar one year ago. Marty´s my first and only teacher, and i´ve learned a lot in one year :) Really awesome

  • @SubliminalReviews just keep strumming at least 30 minutes a day. Practise only stuff you've got problems with till your fingers bleed and your mind won't forget .......LOL

  • Damn! Took me under 5 minutes to get both chords and rhythm down. I'm seriously becoming a bad-ass. Practice Practice Practice. 1 Month ago i told myself my guitar learning would end when I attempt barre chords...but thanks to a great tutor like Marty and my handwork...took less than 5 minutes to nail it on my first time ever forming a barre chord.PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

  • COOL. TILL NEXT TIME!

  • what stage of playing guitar should you start practising barre chords

  • @burningcoldd Personally, I believe you should begin once you've mastered the basic open chords (and switched from nylon strings to steel strings).

  • awesome stuff thanx mate. real handy help with my barre chords :)

  • Wow this really awesome, thank you so much! Only problem is keeping track on the frets, hehe. =)

  • gj marty, i play now for 2 month and i still hate the barre chords but i practiced and practiced and now i can play them :) thank you

  • thanks marty.....u always make it short, sweet, and to the point....this is a very easy song and i tried to play it in power chords but this is way easier....thanks...

  • great video, im a bigginer and im just learning barre chords i hated them at first because you have to push down very hard and takes a lot of time to get it sounding buzz free but now i love them once you learn one you can play all of them and experement i recamend you practice barre chords if your a bigginer. :)

  • @harris0n5 Hey How do You Do Barrechord,s i cant seem to get all of them clear , any advice.

  • It's harder than it looks for a beginner. That F barre chord puts alot of strain on a particular part of the wrist. How long does it take b4 ur wrist gets strong enough to feel no pain here? Sliding from the B to the F is one of the hardest parts.

  • Oh yes, it's hard. But once youm master it, you can use this song to improve even more in barre chords! How? By substituting C chord on 9th fret (an E shape one) with an A shape major chord on 3rd fret with a 5th string root. Just press the 5th string with your index finger on the 3rd fret and barre the D,G and B strings with your ring finger on 5th fret, and keep high e muted. It's a killer chord at first, but really try it, it's useful :) Keep practicing guys, just like I do :)

  • which song is this? i loved it

  • i think it´s fly away by lenny kravitz

  • hmm, it's not like the lesson marty gave. but i don't think it's a song, only a rock progression.

  • yup

  • Hello circle of fourths!

  • I want to get awai, I want to get awaiay... YEAH! :-)

    Saluted by voting sir!

  • At 1:16 it says that the G Major chord is 3-5-5-4-5-5. You meant 3-5-5-4-3-3

  • being a bit petty mate, even the mighty Marty makes the odd mistake but bottom line this guy has brought so much pleasure with his lessons think we would all forgive the odd typo!

  • OMG I REQUESTED THIS :))))

  • tnks

    Saludos de méxico
