I'm playing this right now.I've finished the first three and since this was kinda off the beaten path ,I didn't think it would be any good but it's really well done .The only thing that kinda get to me is they should of at least let him fight multiple enemies at once ,thats what he does best.

Game dates back to NES, this game is actually throwing back to the old school series when your only goal was save the princess. So its not destroying anything. Its branching out and actually showing the original Prince doing what he does best, kill stuff. I thought it was awesome because honestly the prince they've got in the trilogy is a bit of a whiner, and this guy is more of a smartass.

Dont worry. I brought it last night and its a complete waste of money. Its only an hour and a half long, you do the same thing as in the game and it doesn't really give you an ending.Arahman is sitll loose, Elika is angry at Prince for bringing her back to life, and she leaves him to go find more of her people at the end.

It's called STYLE. They went with a more drawn type of style. Have you played Team Fortress 2? That game IS a cartoon, but it can get very serious at tense games. This is just stylized. If you don't like it, you don't have to play it.
