i found supossily a rare mk7 on autotrader it was a dieasel v6. how many mpgs does it get...wasnt listend inautotrader

@ChronicEye im 99% sure its not factory. its more than likely that somone swapped a 6BT cummins into it, which is an I6 not a V6. if thats the case it would be the most badass lincoln in the country. id love to see pictures of it. could you send me the auto trader link

@starr101010 Yes, they came from the factory with a diesel. They made less than 500 though.

@starr101010 The 84-85 years had an option for an inline 6 diesel. I believe it was actually a BMW diesel. No idea on the production numbers, but I know they were low.

they did put a deisel in mark viis but im not sure how big it was they only did it for like two years

It's a BMW I6, it was a factory install in 1984, great engine and should get great mpg

@starr101010 Actually they made straight 6 deisel Mark VII's. It's factory, but they are from BMW's.

@bestamerica thats how some cars are, now and days you have amber turns and what not simply cause there safer. my 88 town car looks the same with the 2 red tailights, it can get annoying when cops pull me over cause the thought i was taping the brakes or something since the turn signal is red.

I junked my 87 mark 7.. To much work not enough money.. By chance I happened to be looking for a car and came up on this 87 mark 7 in my price range.. Needs a lil engine work mainly leaks.. But body and interior are straight.. Brought back memories an soon gonna have some exhaust and sound system in the beezy.. Gotta love the 7s

i think it must be. your dad has salt/pepper hair, right? he really took off from the light, it sounded just like a fox body 5.0 (same engine obviously) with flowmasters.
