@odubhainsr Yes, as did all ours!!! :-D The reasons the Normans were mentioned in the video at the start as I was not aware that they had forts here, or the Christian village either, I always though it was just the pre-Celtic stone age folk and after that no-one until excavation.
@odubhainsr All of our ancestors lived there for thousands of years before the Normans. The reason I used them in the poems, is that I never knew there was Norman forts built there, or the Christian village before them.
I always thought of it as being just the builders and then no-one until excavation.
Prehaps those pre-Celtic people are also our direct ancestors, who is to know?
My ancestors lives there for hundreds of years before the Normans.
