I don't think I have any good tips, just try to focus on your technique and control. Playing rudiments with my feet helped a lot on developing control on ankles. And of course, endurance is really important.

Thanks! Every song and Antithesis is way beyond my skills. Even the slowest songs are something like 235BPM with blast beats through the whole song and I really can't do that.

You are a very good drummer. Very precise, you have put a lot of work in what you do. Great blasts.

However, I am wondering if you have taken any classes. Be very careful with your forearms, you seem like you put a LOT of stress on them. Watch John for instance: most of the work is done through his wrists.

I play the piano and have been very close to injury while practicing more difficult pieces. I should work on that if I were you.

when i first learnt to blast on my left had i used all wrist/arm and i had to stop drumming for 3 weeks due to pain!

Now i blast all fingers/wrist and i'm faster than i was before and no pain!

Thanks! Just regular heel up single strokes. I've been trying to learn that "double stroke" technique where you play first stroke heel up and second heel down but I haven't really figured out yet how to do the motion..

Thanks! I can't really say how long did it take. First I just listened the song and then started to play along the CD. The original song from the Origin album isn't really that fast, I just like to play it a little bit faster. And Longstreth plays it way faster than this :D

tom heads are Evans EC2s on batter side and clear G1s on bottom. I tune them pretty low. I usually tune them so that when I start to tighten them, I leave them to the tension where the drum starts to "ring" and it gets some sustain.
