  • Beautiful duet that was my favorite part of this opera!

  • i dont think this is Minnesota.... Im pretty sure this wasnt from MN....

  • is there also one with the dew man?

(i believe it's the one that sings them to sleep?)

  • @Ellenaoae the sandman sends them to sleep :) sand in their eyes!

  • Perfect voice for this

  • We are doing the play version of Hansel and Gretel, and I was wondering if I please could get a video recording of this show. This is absolutely amazing! -FrenchTheatre

  • OMG the mother in law !!!!!!!!

  • looks like david bowie in "the hunger"

  • So damn good!!!

  • The best sandman-perfomance I´ve ever seen, in every way! Bravo, Sasha Cooke!

  • i saw the HD broadcast of this live a few years ago, the sandman is super creepy haha

  • @regietheaterreckweg Perhaps not. I certainly prefer hearing the German to English translation. I certainly respect authorial intent, but I also just simply enjoyed this performance. What changes to the libretto were made besides the "shhh" to pip?

  • I actually love the more full voice they chose to sing this and to take out the "shhh" and replace it with the pip
