Wow how mad I get when people say that Ft Island's song is the same that McFly's song ! If you listen carefully on both song, the beat are different, it sound almost the same, but it isn't ! I love both of them, but the beat is not quite the same, and there are others band who have the exact same beat, but then they have to ask the artist or some other people from the company to get legal to use it. Ft Island only have original songs, it shows that they can make it on their own <3

I've been fan of Mcfly for 3 years, they are so good & talented, Danny has an amazing & powerful voice, he plays the guitar wonderfully like Tom that plays the piano too, he also has a great voice! Dougie, excellent bassist with a suit voice and Harry is 1 of the best drummer I've ever listened, they are so great!!! :)
I've recently listened FT Island and they are also an excellent band! Lee Hong Gi (is it correct?) is a great, powerful singer, I loved him as Jeremy in You're beutiful (so cute) >.< I can only say that cause I'm new follower but I like their songs a lot (bad woman, I hope, Girls don't know, etc). However, this is so like McFly song :( and sorry but I like more McFly over than FT Island and also 5 colours in her hair song! sorry FT Island fans but that's my opinion.

ft island have lots of great songs, and this one is actually one of the songs that i don't really like because it's not ft island style. My mom used to listen to rock bands like Breaking Benjamin, 30 Seconds to Mars and others and she said ft island is one of the best band that she ever heard. And she's also very impressed that they are still very young.

FT Island is a hardworking band. For those who think they do not play live, that is not true. There are plenty of recent videos of them on youtube of them playing live.
For the times that they are forced to play their instruments without plugging them in, it is because they are not playing on their stage.
Most Korean groups do not require setups of equipments such as FT Islands' instruments, thus the stages are usually not equipped for bands. Time is also a factor as many groups perform.
HongKi sings very well in MY opinion and you guys might have your own opinion but if you don't like their singing and music, then please don't comment on how bad you think they are. HongKi tries his very best. Once in December 2008, he had throat problems but he still continued to sing. After the concert, he was rushed to the hospital. FT Island is a band, they support each other and are great team mates. This is my opinion.

Like they are just singing, not feeling the music. They sound kind of fake to me. And i absolutely do NOT think they look cute...at all...but that's just my opinion. Nobody has to agree.

I'm sick and tired of people who are saying that FT Island are copying, because they're not. They probably had permission to use it as one of their songs ( For example: SHINee had permission from Corban Blue to use the beat of his song "Deal With It" and make their song "Juliette", which is now a BIG hit) Also the lyrics to this song are completely different.
Besides FT Island is a great band and if you dont like them then dont listen to them. There are many fans here who love them.♥FT ISland♥

@TheMissfighting MCFLY is a british band with those four amazing and talented lads namely Tom, Danny,Harry and Dougie. they make such wonderful songs and i love them very much. when i heard this song, it sounded like their original song "Five colours in her hair". but i dont really care if they sounded the same. it's a korean song anyway. :)

and even if the korean groups did 'copy' the original english song, it's not like it's insulting anyone, and if they can release it in their album means it wasn't stolen illegally. music is music, whether it's in korean or english, having the same tune just makes it easier for non-koreans to relate to the song doesn't it? just enjoy the music and stop flaming groups cos you think they're copycats. if you don't like it then don't listen to it. no one said you had to like them.

many english song tracks are sold to the korean entertainment companies that own these latest korean groups and bands, so many of their songs actually have the same basic beat and tune, but the korean groups don't copy english songs without acknowledging the original singers. they may use the same tunes, but when the korean groups use the songs, they come up with their own lyrics and mvs that have hardly anything to do with the originals.

although i have no idea what they are saying as i don't know the Korean language, its rather catchy,
however, seen as i am a McFly fan and love 5 Colours In her Hair (2004 not 2006), i know their tune when i hear it.
the tune is exactly similar, apart from the beginning of the chorus.
and McFly aren't American, they are British.
and yeah, this band probably did get permission to use the tune for their song because it's catchy, so that's good.

FT Island is a hardworking band. For those who think they do not play live, that is not true. There are plenty of recent videos of them on youtube of them playing live.
For the times that they are forced to play their instruments without plugging them in, it is because they are not playing on their stage.
Most Korean groups do not require setups of equipments such as FT Islands' instruments, thus the stages are usually not equipped for bands. Time is also a factor as many groups perform.

HongKi sings very well in MY opinion and you guys might have your own opinion but if you don't like their singing and music, then please don't comment on how bad you think they are. HongKi tries his very best. Once in December 2008, he had throat problems but he still continued to sing. After the concert, he was rushed to the hospital. FT Island is a band, they support each other and are great team mates. This is my opinion.

I'm sorry to say this, and I'm probably going to get people mad at me for this, but I really don't care. They way they sing sounds like they have no feeling. Like they are just singing, not feeling the music. They sound kind of fake to me. And i absolutely do NOT think they look cute...at all...but that's just my opinion. Nobody has to agree.

Wow, people have wasted more than 100 comments arguing whether this song has been copied or not -_- If they did, it's because they got the rights to the song. So just leave it alone.
I really like their sound, and it's nice to hear a cheerful song ^^ All the songs I've heard so far from FT Island have been sad.

they definitely have not gotten the rights to the song, considering that the band that actually wrote it still plays it at all their concerts. It was one of their biggest hits, they would not give up the rights.
the drum beat is pretty much the same, the melody is pretty much the same and most of the guitar chords. Even the rests in the song r the same. I'm not saying they copied it, I'm just saying it sounds extremely similar Check out 5 colors in her hair by mcfly. Thats wat we r takin about

in korea, age is decided by the year, not months. so in this case, FT Island actually have 2 maknaes. even hongki and jonghun said that in another show.. they called both of them as their maknaes.
and the reason why seunghyun is chosen is probably bcoz he's new and he need some exposure better than minhwan.. seunghyun also have a lot of haters so probably with this show, he can prove to the fans and anti-fans that he also capable and good enough to join ft island ^^
