I've first heard these guys when I was 12, 26 years ago. I've been a fan since. They were sold out in Germany when I was there and sold out, again, in Washington DC for their latest tour. I'll never get a chance to see them both perform live on stage together, her and Brendan. =(

It almost seems impossible for a human to make this music, it seems to transcend what we usually consider music.

They are both incredibly intelligent people with equally astounding artistic gifts. They talk about why they made the music they did, what they were trying to do, and so on. Dead Can Dance has given a great deal of meaning to my life and there is simply nothing else like it in the world. Thank you so much DCD...

This would be the one concert I'd fly to another country just to see. People put seeing Pink Floyd live on their bucket list.(wow, what a show.) I put seeing DCD live on mine.

For some reason, I'm always reminded of a majestic, crumbling aztec temple deep within tropical rainforest when I hear this. Hauntingly beautiful, an almost ethereal but proud reminder of what once was. This song is what plays when I think of otherworldly grace.
