Is this a recent interview? From things they said it sounds like this was recorded perhaps a couple of years ago. They mentioned 2008 by name, instead of saying "this year", and the reporter mentioned there were something like 1500 candidates (an exaggeration), but if this had been recorded this week after the State of the Union address, the reporter would have mentioned the ten or so candidates. Why didn't the poster put some metadata on this in the description - when did this air on ABC?

Is this a recent interview? From things they said it sounds like this was recorded perhaps a couple of years ago. They mentioned 2008 by name, instead of saying "this year", and the reporter mentioned there were something like 1500 candidates (an exaggeration), but if this had been recorded this week after the State of the Union address, the reporter would have mentioned the ten or so candidates. Actually, what he says is that "... our troops will still be in the middle east to ensure that there will be no regional problems but what we're not going to do is continue to oversee what has effectively become a sectarian war." Jackass -- like you think he wants us to stick around? Obviously you can't withdraw immediately, but he sure as hell doesn't intend to stay!

Simply put, you've got to exit Iraq in a responsible way. He sought advice directly from the military heads of staff and they said they could safely withdraw 1 or 2 brigades a month.

Remember that George Bush ran in 2000 mocking the idea that we would nation build. Trust me, Obama is not interested in reversing our foreign policy. We've invested alot in Iraq and he won't reverse course because it isn't against his view of the world, which is the same as the democratic platform that Wilson invented, to spread our goodness by force.

Barack says he wants out of Iraq but it sounds to me like he just said he wants to use them differently to protect Iraq's borders. Very interesting. Doesn't sound very different from Bush yet he bashes bush for being in Iraq. Barack is puppet on the strings of very similar people to those who control Bush.

He is a bright guy, Ok. He is a CFR member and a unwitting traitor. He like Clinton and Bush have the same agenda, having us fight over crumbs (abortion, social security, and trivial things the Fed gov.t ). We are heading into a deep recession and Obama is oblivious or duping you either way you loose. I know you care, or else you wouldn't reply to attacks on Obama.
