yea there is dread, difference with the abyss is that you can fly anywhere, but not for limitless time, there are lots of way to extend your time tho, pots, scrolls, clerics have a skill for that aswel on top of it all

What are you talking about, your all watching it on your monitors, so it's 2D by your logic. It only creates the illusion of being 3D. Besides, scientists are slowly discovering that time and space are 2 sides or 1 coin. And at pressent they estimate their being 'atleast' 21 dimentions and the number is still growing, so all this 'arguing' is all just relative. Pointless or 0D is another good reference for it :)

The 2D argument is just the fact that you can cast a thee dimensional object onto a two dimensional surface without fundamentally changing it, y'know, unless you include what's behind that casting. But technically we can't see it to verify its there right? It's more of a psychological or metaphysical conundrum to whether the universe is two or three dimensions.

Imagine playing with 5 to 10 of your friends and you get into a group pvp. If your group has skills it can even take out groups that out number you by twice more players. its not about zergs in this game. Imagine being able to pvp in world game not just battle grounds. It's gonna be awesome. and pvp has a point to it not like battlegrounds. battlegrounds was really pointless. more so if you had max honor and marks and went in just for pvp purposes... its boring

This game is gonna be awesome i remember playing lineage 2. sorta like lineage 2 but way better. WoW i played it end game is so boring. from start to end it was boring. it had no end game content. it was mostly for pve casuals. it gets way too boring.

Thats not true, when you fight in the air all damage, both physical and range, are reduced to 20%. Flight is a tactical mechanism, not really a full gameplay experience.

I was actually really hyped about aerial pvp..

but really, this is actually a much worse idea than it seems initially. At least in ground PvP like WoW, you have the option of using the line of sight. With aerial PvP, there's nowhere to hide, literally. That's pretty cheap, as it comes down to being a button masher.

I just don't get that feeling from the video here. I guess it depends a lot on the zones too. Open world PVP is just too open. If you see someone coming from a mile away, it really doesn't matter if they're descending on you or running up to you.

seriously what the hell are you talking about??????? This game destroys wow with anything pvp based. LOS doesnt even work in wow. Strafing in wow doesnt mean much but hoping the other person is a keyboard turner. In Aion strafing actually does something. The flying dynamic is possible the most ingenious thing. Its not about flying in and out its about getting range, healing up putting the enemy off its a 4 dimensional fight not 3d.

1) I am a shotgunner in FPS. I don't do hiding. I smoke people out of their hiding.

2) Hiding is better because it gives you an element of strategy. Without any obstacle in the way, all you do is mash button. MMO where you fight in the air (and therefore once engaged, cannot truly do anything else since the next obstacle is 200 yards away) is like playing Street Fighter without using the Dpad to move. You are forced into a scenario where you stand
