  • 2 rockets pack: u$s 400.00

    1 engine button: u$s 12.00

    1 bike halmet: u$s 500

being a real "playmobil" of the future for only 20 seconds: priceless.

  • hotilor asta este invenie romineasca a fos creata de iustin capra in ani50

  • Haha not exactly the best place to do this :)

  • What a great idea to do the launch in a bunch of dirt!

  • How long can he fly with that, 5 - 10 seconds? Not worth the trouble.

Although, it could be the beginning of a great invention, sort of like the difference between the phonograph and a CD player . . . this rocket-man is still at the "phonograph" level . . . it's a start though.

  • OMFG it actually works! Thats pretty good!

  • Now go backwards

  • he has a crane attached to his back

  • @rodjenel You have never seen a jet pack before then? dumbass.

  • @Manoo62 no but ive seen comediansXD

  • @rodjenel So you didnt notice the twenty similar videos all down the right hand side of the page, you just though you woud put your foot in your mouth?

  • @Manoo62 <<<<<< NINKAMPOOP

  • @rodjenel Keep digging that hole arsewipe your making yourself look real clever now.

  • compressed air..?

  • I could of jumped higher than that shit.

  • it looks amazingly stable down low during landing.

  • The Test Pilot there was the test pilot for all the bell rocket belt flights in the 60s.

He's not exactly a moron , just one of the best test pilots ever

  • hilarious how noisy it is

  • breathe dust

  • Nice. Now him and jet man need to put their machines together! Jet man because your flying FAST and bill here because you have so much control with the thunderpack!

  • Nice u went 15 maybe 25 feet in the air but what would happen if u went 100 or 200 feet there wouldn't be anything that would be the opposite force a.k.a the ground

  • @KingOfShwing So dats why dem rokets nebber gid inta uoder spayce! Yur a jeanyus! A regooler Weener Von Brown!

  • @KingOfShwing then there's thrust

  • @KingOfShwing planes and helicopters do ok pushing against the air

  • @KingOfShwing planes and helicopters do ok pushing against the air and rockets for that matter.

  • Jetpacks was yes!

  • maybe over grass next time...

  • That was awsome. I'm gettin my thrills just watchin it.

  • Yawn

  • You think they coulda found sombody a little skinnier....

  • The tanks look a little bigger than on a standard Bell flying belt. Are they? and if so did it increase your range?

  • How is this possible?

  • @arruggnir thrust

  • Imagine going to school with one of those.

  • A very expensive and dangerous "leaves blower", but fun to see it!

  • Someone perfect the jetpack damnit

  • Dude! That's awesome! Nice work. Thanks for sharing.

  • awesome

  • how do you circumcise a red neck?...............

kick his mother in the chin! lol

  • that looks like a lot of fun!!!

in toronto that thing would be friggen wicked!

lol and on the racial side, i think this guy thinks

it might be nice to have a big black Pringal's can up his ass. <=====3 lol

  • If he jumped at 1:06 he would have gotten a better altitude.

  • not sure he was going for too much altitude to be fair bud lol

  • Hydrogen Peroxide. bad ass mouthwash

  • Oh good, they picked a spot with no powerlines nearby.

  • He looks like Frank Robinson

  • This man has a book coming out on Oct. 19th of this year. It is intitled " The Rocketbelt Pilot's Manual". The book is written by Bill Suitor (the guy flying around in this video). He is the man who flew in James Bond 007 Thunderball movie, Lost in Space TV series, Superball #1, the 1984 Olympics and many more special events around the world! It is an in depth look at the technology of this personal flying machine and explains how to fly one! I already have my book on order because I NEED IT!

  • オッサン腰が引けてるぜ!折角なんだからもっと高くいこうよぉ〜

  • HA HA we're watching a jetpack video how the hell did it go racial? WTF

  • excellent question

  • Cut back on the freakin credits will ya?

  • the song at the end is the main theme song from "Fireball XL-5", an old tv puppet show (early 60's) by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson, probably a forerunner of "Thunderbirds" and "Captain Scarlet". Gee how I miss those days.

  • Someone needs to do this with a guitar and do a ripping solo in mid air

  • hahahaha

  • LOL @ the song at the end!!

  • Beamship Captain, lol you rock... But you forgot about the Ottoman Empire and the contributions that society had on the European's . :P

  • the guy is fat, couldn't lift off easily :P

  • soon as these are available to public some drunk will think hes playing GTA san andreas lol o_o

  • Song is from FireBall XL 5.

  • why is it always fat old white men in jet packs... not fair :P

  • Because White men ''INVENT''.. All the others USE..

  • Africa came up with Pyramids, mathematics, and commerce, and agrigulture, whilst pale-skinned Europeans were living in caves and wearing animal-skins in Europe.

  • LOL wanker

  • How did they end up slaves in the USA then, Part of their genius plan was it?

  • Because of warring factions, and kidnapping, and diaspora of peoples, and carriage accrss the Atlantic under subhuman conditions. There were many white slaves too, as well as indentured servants. A people that enslaves others can hardly be called "superior", in any way. Quite the opposite, the enslavers were worse than depraved. Chinese are non-white, and they invented medicine 4,000 years ago, and gunpowder and rockets 1200 years ago, whilst pale-skinned Europeans lived in caves.

  • While that might be so, you are also talking down all the pale-skinned Europeans? Seeing things as just races? There are many kinds of ways to be a racist and one of them is to look into another one and mock it.

Doesn't always have to be a pale-skinned caveman from Europe calling a dark-skinned man from the south names, it goes both ways.

No place on Earth is free of racism, there are always some who look down on different PEOPLE.

  • Right. Racism is wrong. Period.

  • Thats the Egyptians and Jews. They are most certainly not Black. Blacks are STILL living like savages in Africa. seriously..

  • yes he invented black death, considering it was from asia

  • dude c'mon now

the majority of the world believes that almost all fatal diseases were from medieval whites shitting in corners like cavemen.

"an ordinance requiring residents to shout out Look out below! three times before dumping a full chamber pot onto the medieval street" - I mean c'mon at least dig a whole for it lol

  • caliscool, what do you call 14 niggers in a crackers back yard?

    the black plague

  • I don't know about all of that but that last I heard your mom was calling it a wonderful afternoon while sonny boys away at school :)

  • hmmm... maybe don't do it where there is a load of dust... no point flying when you can't see anything

  • haha in the begining did that guy kick the chalks away like it was an airplane

  • What is the song?¿?¿?;D

  • All that development and they can't manage to find a better place than a dirt field to test it? How about some grass eh?

  • lol...the song at the end.

  • that is awesome! check out a guy named yves rossy (he calls himself fusion man)....he flew across the english channel with a jet powered carbon fiber wing strapped to his back....ever since daedelus and icarus escaped minos this has been a dream of man...now come true

  • haha theme music from Fireball XL-5!

  • THAT'S REAL DUMBASS!

  • it is not fake, its real, jerk, but i think it was air, not a "rocket" like with gasoline or sumthing.

  • I liked the wire at the top you can see

  • hmm, i did not see a wire, what wire? even if there WAS a wire (there wasnt) there is a thing called TEATHERED FLIGHT TESTING so the guy at the controlls doesnt go

  • These things work worse than I first saw them in 1967. What a joke!

  • BUT they do work, you cant argue with that

  • criss angel is better than him amigo

  • too bad all of his magic is all done on camera. watch some of his tricks and pause and rewind and youll find out how he does them easily

  • 100k for 30sec.low fly ? No way,

But's wouldn't nothing bad to 30 minutes in a medium height

and for 3 hours it will be definitively a fine bargain

Anyway Good Work and Good Luck to Developers

  • it only flew around 6ft coz he's FAT!! hahaha!!

  • great for clearing leaves!

  • you are fat! you can't fly!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  • Only a MORON would hope that someone with the guts and skill to fly a rocketpack would fly it into a tree and injure himself. You probably would have told the Wright brothers to stick to bicycles. People like you should stay home after working with your pick & shovel and watch NASCAR races on weekends and hope for lots crashes! Let the thinkers, innovators and visionaries transform our future while you in your recliner & chug down that cool one OK! We will all be better off for it.

  • @airwalker13 better than u

  • @airwalker13 Thank you.

  • @airwalker13 Do you actually think jetpacks are the future? I mean really? That idea is as old as the Jetsons, and it's not gonna happen. Let the guy joke around.

  • @airwalker13 I could not have said it better!

  • Watch out for power lines...

  • i want one!!!! i bet he couldnt see a fucking thing lol

  • how cool i want on ov dem!!!!!!

  • It's concentrated hydrogen peroxide sent through a metal catalyst mesh. The reaction produces a high volume of gas which sent through a nozzle is enough to fly the wearer around for under a minute. This was only a test flight, the rocket belt can go much higher. Bill Suitor is the original test pilot for Bell Labs' rocket belt.

  • Pressurised nitrogen forces the high purity hydrogen peroxide though a silver catalyst where it decomposes rapidly into high pressure steam. Flights originally lasted 21.5 seconds in 1966, today's still only last 30 seconds at best.

  • Almost. The catalyst is made of layered screens of different metals. It includes silver, but also platinum, gold etc. all designed for maximum reactivity. The original flights were 21.5 seconds, but have been right around 40 for quite a few years since. The latest variant of the ThunderPack shown here uses a mix of H2O2 and JP4, with a claimed flight time of 75 seconds. The best part is they plan to market it for $98k.

  • "claimed"?

    "plan to"?

Like I correctly said, today's flights still only last 30 seconds.

  • I want one of these to blow the leaves from my driveway!

  • I keep imagining dogs chasing it, barking like crazy :)

  • that would be great to head down the bottle shop and grab a slab

  • what does that let out... compressed air???

  • it would be kinda cool to have one and just fool around in your backyard though

  • Guess they spent all the money on the jet pack and couldn't afford a good camera/camera man. Not all that impressive.

  • So, looks like a bunch of compressed air. Uh... can't say I'm impressed.

  • Same old jetpack stuff that's been around for 50 years and can only carry enough fuel for 1 minute or so of flight. Big deal.

  • well thats no fun at all, all you can is go up 6 feet

  • They made a jetpack but couldn't find someone better at filming?

  • what did they pressurise to do this...?

  • If you're really an enviromentalist.. do us all a favor and get rid of Nascar.

  • rofl... wow i LOVE enviromentalists.... never cease to give me a chuckle.

    Piece of advice for ya.

Go to a logging site... and stand under a falling tree bunch of ignorent morons.

  • It's back to the future!

  • thats cool! you tree huging idiots, its just dust flying around from the jet air! now get out of this country and go start your commie state somewhere else! lol that thing is cool! hell ya!

  • That was cool... I wonder if they are going to sell those. If only everyone had one...

  • THAT WAS FUCKIN' GNAR!HELLYEAH DUDE.

  • Will this harm the ozone layer?

  • r u serious?

    WOW

  • no.

  • Wow, what a question!! Does anything we do these days not harm the ozone layer???

  • wow.... what kind of loser are you ibim....

  • I thought nobody remembered Fireball XL5. So where is Col. Steve Zodiak these days?

Seriously, you guys just gotta keep working on this! Couple more breakthroughs and we call all be George Jetson.

  • cool

  • blah

  • That's hot!

  • hahaha.....you hicks make me laugh

  • die

  • next time go straight up till you run out of proppellant I wanna see a big splat!

  • nothing sucks more than gorge bush !!!

    okay mabey this!!

  • wow, he got up about 10 feet and blew dust everywhere!! my ex gf blows harder then that trinket!!

  • dis sucks more than george bush!!!

  • Wow what a waste of time

  • Looks pretty polluting...is this really necessary?

  • most of it looks like it was dirt kicked up by the rockets. depending on whats in those tanks, it could be really hazardous.

  • If it's like the previous jet packs, it's just hydrogen peroxide.

  • right... hydrogen peroxide. so the fringe benefit of using one of these jet-packs is you end up with bleached blonde hair and very clean cuts!

  • This one does use hydrogen peroxide, but this time they've mixed an amount of kerosene into, which expanded the flight time for about 75 seconds, according to a news report I read.

  • Were airplanes really necessary? How about the steam engine? Were automobiles really necessary? What about fire? Should we have bothered using fire? I mean, it sure does produce alot of smoke. Jesus.

  • The comment below was in response to the genius who asked if this was really necessary.

  • No, but I wasn't there back then to stop it. Now I am. Stop this shiat!!!!

Progress should be pursuid in other domains. Let's not throw with moneybundles to these guys. It can be used for much more humain purposes.

  • Excuse me, is English your first language?

  • America is a free democratic society, money can be spent as we so please. I think saving whales, cats and dogs and what not is a waste of money. I think global warming spending is a waste of money since global warming is a fraud.

Spend your money as you please.. we are capitalists we'll spend our money as we please.

  • dude global warming is for real...

  • Yes and No.

    Yes there is global warming.

No it is not caused by humans and we can not do anything to effect it.

  • sure it is. however it's just not caused by carbon emissions.

  • Hey guys!! I got an idea!! Let's give the GW people more money so they can buy new cars and houses ROFL.

Bunch of lieing hypocrites, make yourselves useful, fly over to Afganistan and find a land mine to throw yourself on so that decent people dont have to put up with you and your sick lies.

  • i dont get your point...

  • "Looks pretty polluting...is this really necessary?"

    what a fricken moron!

  • Bill Suitor is my most favorite Rocket Belt Pilot. It's wonderful to see him fly again. Nino is terrific, too :)

  • That was really cool, where can I find more information on what you guys do?

  • It's good to see that OLD SMOOTHIE's back in the saddle again. Damn, if he doesn't make it look easy! Terriffic return flight Bill. My congratulations to Nino and the entire Thunderbolt Team for bringing the dream of individual personal flight a little closer. Keep the videos coming and stay safe.

  • right,

too bad you can't see a damn thing when you turn it on. Dust much???

  • Cool Jetpack but seriously, over HALF of this video is credits and titles...

  • Your records are safe, Bill. Keep up the great work, Nino!
